🚨 SOUTHWEST PILOT SNAPS IN FRONT OF PASSENGERS - AND EXPOSES A FULL-BLOWN AIRLINE MELTDOWN
He faces the cabin and grabs the mic:
“I don’t really care what your political persuasion is, but you should really call your senator - because I’ll tell you, this is costing the airlines millions of dollars.”
Then he lays it out:
“Just think of 30 airplanes with one engine running. It’s gonna take us at least 90 minutes to take off. So it’s frustrating. It’s really frustrating for me ...because right now it’s gonna cost about two hours of our lives on the ground before we even take off, spend all that gas, all that money. And it just rolls into the rest of the system.”
He keeps going:
“Right now we’re at a 4% reduction in flight capacity. Next week we go to ten.”
“Last night, I had a six hour delay in Houston, and the weather was perfect! It’s because the traffic controllers aren't getting paid.”
The cabin goes silent - passengers just staring.
A pilot turning frustration into a live exposé on the runway.
If this is what pilots are saying out loud…what’s happening behind closed doors?
@GuyDealership During my wife’s complementary oil change over the weekend, I talked with a local Chevy dealer in the SE Region (Central Florida), and he said that their most popular model is the Trax…Said they can’t keep them in stock. People are prioritizing affordability in this economy
Just inspected the Starship booster, which the arms have now placed back in its launch mount. Looks great!
A few outer engine nozzles are warped from heating & some other minor issues, but these are easily addressed.
Starship is designed to achieve reflight of its rocket booster ultimately within an hour after liftoff. The booster returns within ~5 minutes, so the remaining time is reloading propellant and placing a ship on top of the booster.
We’re back, baby!
Our Voyager 1 spacecraft is conducting normal science operations for the first time since November 2023. All four instruments – which study plasma waves, magnetic fields, and particles – are returning usable science data.

@stats_feed VR…Virtual Reality has been ‘the next big thing’ for a while now, and it just hasn’t manifested like I expected. Feels like it’s been “5 years away” for the last 15 years. AR seems to have found limited traction, but its use seems to be a novelty at best
@dominikmuggli@SawyerMerritt@Tesla Can anyone comment if an EV needs a battery coolant flush? I know it’s a closed system, but I’m wondering if the quality of the fluid breaks down over time and loses its effectiveness at heat transfer
