D and reinvest in myself (education/health), my business, Index funds, Roth IRA, high-yield dividend paying stocks, real estate, my family, my close friends, and my immediate community.
In that order.
Why?
Stabilize yourself and your “house” first so you can focus on building up others. If you live in a glass house and try to build up those around you that live in paper houses before building yourself, when a rock gets flung your direction no one is able to help you and neither should you expect them to. Just because you help others you should not expect others to help you in return. You only help others when you expect absolutely nothing in return. Otherwise you put strain on that relationship and chains on your mentality.
Good! AI hallucinates waaaaaay too much right now. It’s at a point it’s not just “trust but verify” but more like “don’t trust until verified”. It’s getting old.
I’ve had a script deployed to create a task schedule and another local script that was called by said task schedule during our maint window that did some local checks before calling another script in another location that I could “turn off/on” via commenting out or modify for reasons. It did things like Windows updates and check and fix any downgraded enterprise machines that were on pro, and whatever else I may have needed on the fly to be run regularly.
Wild West days. 🤣
@patchdayalert@The_Cyber_News We took a similar approach, but our Malware/EDR tool also offers a robust patch manager in console that is very convenient for things like this. We used it on the last chromium zero-day to mitigate stranglers.
🚨 Windows Defender 0-Day Exploit “RoguePlanet” Grants SYSTEM Access to Attackers
Source: https://t.co/h0SqQD6cjB
A researcher known as Nightmare Eclipse has publicly released a new proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit named RoguePlanet, targeting a previously undisclosed race condition vulnerability in Microsoft Windows Defender.
When successfully executed, the exploit spawns a command shell running under SYSTEM-level privileges, granting an attacker the highest possible access on a compromised Windows machine.
The release, posted to GitHub, arrives on Patch Tuesday, June 10, 2026, adding urgency to an already escalating series of Defender-targeting disclosures.
