Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

@BBCNews Get your facts right @BBCNews . This is clearly yellow journalism. The protests was never against Social media ban, it was against the system the suppresses freedom of speech and against the corrupt.
Data.table is soooooooo blazing fast. For me the barrier to learn a new package always stopped me from going from data.frame. Now working with a huge dataset, I can truly appreciate it’s speed.
@instrumenthull Since you have 268 estimates a grouped Ridgeline Plot might be a nifty way of showing. If it can be grouped by school or subjects.
Something like this, example taken from google.
A 100% agree. I am not as prolific user as Kyle but this just fixed my problem. I used VSCode for everything apart from
R, now this completes a circle for me. Only thing missing is a smooth stata integration somehow 😂
yep; positron is fantastic. I've been an R + VSCode user for years now. Having one IDE to do *all* coding makes the marginal benefit of learning keyboard shortcuts and the IDE tools huge
The R LSP they wrote is fantastic and the debugging experience is great.
Positron IDE is exactly what I needed!
For anyone that uses R for majority of their time but also uses Visual Studio for writing using LaTeX, this is a great replacement.

Regression is a tool for making comparisons?
This is my first substack essentially breaking down the tweet by @instrumenthull on regressions as a comparison tool.
It would be great to have your thoughts/suggestions on this. #EconTwitter
