Yes this happened in 1977 but the move was a major factor in TO's economy surpassing Quebecs at the time & took years for business to feel confident in investing there.

@tsalt7 @cityofcalgary Make sure you do a fact check. Ticket sales were poor, lineup was sub par, an artist had to back out and the weather outlook is bad. Promoter chose the city as an out to save face. Bylaws weren't going to affect this even anyway. Over by 11pm and on a weekend.
