Wonderful news! The signs on the B5158, Flixton Bridge, are now up and looking impressive. Thanks to Trafford Council. No reason why other councils can’t follow suit. Guidance was issued by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Govt in April 2019

Rochdale Town Hall's bells will replace Big Ben on Christmas Eve, the BBC has confirmed.
The clock tower at Westminster is out of action because of a restoration project. The chimes of Rochdale's bells will be heard before the 6pm news on Radio 4.
