The @ACLU in G.G. v. Gloucester: "Because research indicates that gender identity is itself rooted in biology, the term 'biological sex' does not accurately distinguish between gender identity and sex assigned at birth.'"
Let's follow the ACLU's own citations.๐งต
@ApexSeeker_ Building a high speed rail in this country doesn't work. Too many unions and thieves taking their cut of the cost to make it viable. And that's after years of regulation red tape. Look up how much Cali has blown trying to build one. You can have Hollywood.
@japan_nobunaga Yes, a lot of it. A lot is soaked up by text book companies in an unholy alliance with professors and colleges to release a new overpriced edition every year. Then there's the unions, the campus, the "endowment" of the University that needs to be fed. It's all broken.
@ronsterd89@AvailableLite9 Every bad person is a thief of some kind. Liars are thieves of the truth. If you can't speak (or write) without lying, then don't.
@japan_nobunaga Spanish because I lived in South America for a while. Learning languages is fun though. I've done a little Italian, Russian, and Japanese since. Most Americans, even those who travel the country (because it is so big) can get away without ever learning a second language.
@japan_nobunaga Because as human beings we have a right to defend ourselves. As important as the right to speak our minds without government reprisal. If you aren't allowed to defend your life with lethal force, it isn't your own. You then aren't a free citizen, but a serf.
@tanpukunokami My father taught me firearm safety and shooting from age 11 or so. My older sister as well. When my younger siblings grew up, they got the lessons as well. When you're mature enough to follow directions and retain them, that's the best time to teach.
@japan_nobunaga We plan and prepare for the worst, even if it is unlikely to happen. Having firearms not only gives you a chance against an attacker (even if they themselves have a firearm) but against a government. While an individual couldn't overthrow a tyranny, a population could.
@japan_nobunaga I can say with confidence that every man in my congregation owns at least one firearm. Most of the ladies as well (even if it is just a shared household firearm). We do keep one behind every blade of grass in this country.
@omgsidewalks You can't "eliminate" poverty. Everyone starts poor. We should be asking what creates wealth. But market reforms have dropped it worldwide from 36% in 1990 to under ten percent today.
@ThrillaRilla369 Oppose. Government can't do anything better than the private sector and the control over your life will be almost complete. You don't want them to have ultimate control over healthcare.
