.@TheJusticeDept arrested five people in a plot to attack and kill government officials.
People have been prosecuted and locked up for making the exact same threats against me and it’s always the same type — losers living in their parents’ basements looking for someone to blame.
This is a real problem in our society, and we need to start taking it seriously.
Glad to see law enforcement doing their job.

In Denver today meeting with some of our regional partners from the Colorado and Wyoming area – represented by 25 different federal, state, and local agencies. Giving law enforcement across the country a bigger voice in D.C. continues to be a tier 1 mission for this @FBI.
We discussed a host of important issues including our Homeland Security Task Force model crushing violent crime, following the money fueling violence in local communities, protecting kids online from Nihilistic Violent Extremism, our work using AI to triage tips, counter UAS mitigation and drone detection, and more.
These are the men and women helping this FBI deliver the most prolific run of crime reduction in American history – including an over 13% decrease in violent crime right here in Colorado last year.
On the ground in Phoenix with our @FBIPhoenix team – a group doing incredible work to crush violent crime, protect our kids, and support our tribal partners in the region.
Recently this team was involved in securing an indictment against an Indian Country police officer - who allegedly sexually abused three victims while working as an on-duty officer on dates from 2020 through 2023. The subject has now been indicted with Aggravated Sexual Abuse, Kidnapping, and other federal charges.
They’ve also done tremendous work protecting kids online – late last year, they secured a 29-count superseding indictment against an alleged ringleader of the violent 764 network, part of the dangerous Nihilistic Violent Extremism (NVE) network this FBI has been cracking down on online (500% more arrests last year). The subject is now charged with producing child pornography, distributing child pornography, and even conspiring to provide material support to terrorists.
Thanks to the team for hosting and being apart of our field push to make America safer than ever before.

Today’s story behind the numbers: This #FBI and justice for the California doctor who stiffed taxpayers for $45 million in one of the largest fraud schemes ever uncovered in the U.S.
Violetta Mailyan—owner of a beauty and cosmetic clinic in an L.A. suburb—spent years faking and fudging records for Botox injections that were never provided or not medically needed—fraudulently billing Medicare for shots when her clinic was closed, when she was out of town, and before some patients had contacted her, even once charging a patient in prison.
The fraudulent gains were spent on lavish vacations, multiple luxury vehicles, and more than $14 million in properties and equities.
Mailyan was arrested last October and convicted at trial last month. Supported by @FBILosAngeles, this case is yet another victory in the nationwide crackdown on fraud led by the White House that has delivered billions of dollars in recoveries and savings for the country.

CASE UPDATE from @FBIDetroit: Department of Justice indicts eight conspirators who threatened University of Michigan officials, businesses, and the Jewish Federation
According to the indictment, after the October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel, the defendants and unindicted conspirators enacted a series of coordinated “actions” threatening University of Michigan leaders, law enforcement, and businesses. Seemingly prompted by their perception of the University of Michigan’s and other victims purported financial support of Israel, the conspirators insisted publicly that they “must escalate, mobilize, and organize to demand divestment by any means necessary.”

IN CUSTODY: Said Abdullahi Ereg – the FIRST EVER arrest of a “Most Wanted Fraudsters” since the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud released our Most Wanted Fraudsters list last week. Ereg just landed in Minneapolis and was taken into custody after turning himself in. He has been wanted on federal charges since 2024.
Ereg allegedly stole over $4 million from the Federal Child Nutrition Program in Minneapolis during the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020-2021. He allegedly falsely claimed to have served meals to children in need, claiming fake reimbursements from the government, and then laundered the money through foreign accounts to fund a lavish lifestyle. He is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud, Wire Fraud, and Money Laundering.
When @VP Vance led the way for the Most Wanted Fraudsters list through the @WhiteHouse@WHFraudTF – this was exactly the righteous goal the Task Force had in mind – to bring to justice all those who have stolen money from hardworking American taxpayers. This historic result is only the beginning - and let it be a message to any fraudster who takes advantage of America, this team will find you. @DAGToddBlanche@FBIMinneapolis
CASE UPDATE from @FBINorfolk and @FBIWFO: Justice Department, FBI Disable 13 Websites Backed by Suspected Chinese Agents That Sought Sensitive U.S. Information from Security Clearance Holders
Beginning in November 2023, the conspirators created at least 13 fake consulting company websites advertising generic “consulting” jobs and including statements indicating their purpose was to recruit current or former U.S. government and U.S. military employees to provide expertise to unspecified clients. The scheme used contracts and confidentiality agreements to give their bogus consulting companies an air of legitimacy.

Today’s story behind the numbers: This #FBI stops cold more potential terrorist attacks on this country.
On Monday, Mohamed Sagha of northeastern New Jersey was charged with allegedly attempting to provide material support and resources to the terrorist organization ISIS. In December, Sagha had connected online with a confidential human source who he thought was an ISIS fighter in Syria and began chatting about planning violent attacks on U.S. targets.
Sagha expressed interest in assisting with an ISIS attack or launching his own, possibly on a National Guard facility or Jewish house of worship, while sharing pictures and videos of actual locations. He talked repeatedly about visiting ISIS territory and even made an unsuccessful attempt to do so. He also purchased and shipped encryption technology to the source designed to help the ISIS “brothers” mask their identities and locations and conceal their online activities.
This is law enforcement at its best —stopping deadly attacks before they happen—and it follows on the heels of another FBI investigation that led to the pre-emptive arrest last week of three ISIS supporters who allegedly sought to attack and kill members of our military—as well as the four terror attacks this FBI stopped in just one month at the end of 2025.
Special thanks to @FBINewark, NYPD, and the Wayne Police Department for their work here to save lives and protect the homeland.
