@jasonmlodge You assume that a calculator provides the correct answer. But GIGO & unless learners have an understanding of what they are putting in, and what they are getting out, they blindly copy both the answer from the calculator and the answer from ChatGPT both of which are often wrong.

One of the biggest threshold concepts in SoTL is understanding what SoTL is. This takes time, and requires familiarity with SoTL literature. There’s thirty three years’ of SoTL literature and it’s all in there.
