@sam_gzstrength Multiple year recovery - no surgery but still chronic low level discomfort. I expect I may have had underlying / undiagnosed back issues before this, but this was the proverbial straw that took me out.

@sam_gzstrength From slow decent dead lifts - L4 and L5 disc bulge, excruciating femoral nerve pain, immediate difficulty walking. Completely out of the blue. Was not lifting heavy or doing anything I hadn’t done 100 times before. Started lifting at age 16, this happened at age 49.
