An excellent video from Broken Battery.
We really need to get The Lancet to retract the PACE study.
Just today I saw it being used as “evidence” for recommendations in #LongCovid.

New video: What is ME/CFS?
A brief overview of symptoms, diagnosis and treatment based on the 2021 NICE guideline. Its not being tired all the time, patients have an energy impairment that dramatically limits their activity.
@chesscom I ❤️ the daily puzzle, but it sucks that so often the title gives away the solution like ‘a deadly deflection’.
Can we have an option to hide the title unless we want the hint? Or maybe only reveal the titles after you’ve solved the puzzle?
@MEAssociation I use my pip allowance to employ a housekeeper 6 hours a week who makes a big difference to our lives. She cleans through the house twice a week and batch makes 4 days lunches.
I try to schedule my trips out so I’m not home during hoovering and go cafe at end of my street👍🏻
Can't believe UK medical guidelines for CFS have been 'paused' due to lobbying from psychologists and doctors are still prescribing such harmful treatment for patients like myself! 😢

@KraftyKaylub @SSmackdwn @Mugzyo @KingChrisizard @boggedcrashing @Novcc_ @KillinBustas@SenpaiSane @TheBeardedGuy25 @GolfAlphaGolf@CookeeIVIoNstER@CooperHMan @TestyShift Hey man been away for different trial treatments for health conditions. Had some construction work on the house and just generally busy preparing for arrival of my baby in a few weeks. Will do a stream in a few weeks to announce the new arrival to the fam though 👍🏻❤️
Excellent video by @MEAssociation bringing to life some great cartoons explaining Cfs and how you can help someone you know with the condition 👍🏻

David Strain and Nina Muirhead both stress the lack of research & understanding of post viral chronic illnesses like #MECFS : “if it had been appropriately researched 15 years ago we’d be a lot further ahead with long Covid today”
Dr Nina Muirhead live on @BBCWomansHour
“As an NHS doctor, I probably saw hundreds of patients with this condition before I got ill myself. I had no empathy for how severe it was and I didn’t recognise it in many patients who presented with all of these symptoms." (1/2)
