@CHORE0MANICS I actually liked it for the most part, but Devils Minion is truly carrying that book on its shoulders. I definitely wouldn't have rated it so high if it wasn't for their chapter
@lilaksinthewind@crimsonwhore Exactly, this is my fear and what certain screeners seem to be implying. I asked someone on Tumblr if they could confirm or deny, but they just said they weren't allowed to talk about Claudia's story and that certain screeners are too biased to speak on 3x06
#TVLspoilers
I wonder if 3x06 will reveal that Claudia lied about the train scene, either through her ghost or torn out diary pages. I didn't want to believe the writers would go there, but the way screeners are talking about this episode has me concerned
does anyone else have a fic (from any fandom) that has stuck with them for literal years and even all this time later when i’m no longer in that fandom i still regularly think about how beautiful it was and hope that the author is still writing in some capacity
@crimsonwhore When they said it was in the books, they were referring to the fact that Claudia lies & manipulates Louis into helping her kill Lestat. One screener claims that s3 will prove that Claudia lied in her diary #TVLspoilers
@DVampireEliany Claudia isn't a black teen who was violently raped in the books, so it's not the same. Besides, the show already did a good job of adapting book Claudia's manipulative personality; making her lie about rape/abuse does nothing but offend rape victims who are rarely believed
@alexbuckleys I agree, that's how I predicted it would go down as well. But multiple people who have watched the season have implied that it's a flat out lie Claudia came up with #TVLspoilers
