Delhi: Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGEs), under the banner of the All India Medical Students' Association (AIMSA), staged a protest at Jantar Mantar alleging irregularities in this year's Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) results
📢 Urgent: WB FMG Internship Delay
It’s been 6 months since the exam, yet no official notice for internship in West Bengal.
🧑⚕️ 32 students from July 2024 batch still waiting.
They’re told to “wait” with no date in sight.
⚠️ Risk of missing NEET PG 2026 eligibility is real.
🚨 FMG interns at Symbiosis Medical College for Women (Pune) are being forced to pay ₹18K for a basic course.
When they opposed with MMC letter, admin threatened to withhold internship completion.
Stipend? Just ₹5K, while IMG batch gets ₹12K.
Blatant exploitation.

GMC Shahdol MP Dean is violating NMC guidelines! Interns are denied ICC after completing their internship forced into an illegal exam & given a 3month extension after they tried contacting the CM helpline on top of a 3month delay.@NMC_IND@CMMadhyaPradesh@DGP_MP@MPPoliceDeptt
🚨 Watch This Before It Gets Deleted! 🚨
During COVID thousands of Indian students & tourists were stranded abroad, desperate for help. We reached out to our embassies, expecting support but instead we were met with neglect cold responses & in some cases, outright harassment. 1/4
So, there was this recent incident between the 2nd year UG students and FMGs that shows mistakes from both sides.
It is important for juniors to recognize that foreign medical graduates (FMGs) are also integral part of this system, and we will all become doctors in the future.
Absolutely, disrespecting FMGs (Foreign Medical Graduates) by writing open letter and commenting on them, is unacceptable. Everyone deserves respect and recognition for their hard work and dedication. Attacking juniors is equally shameful. Let's promote a culture of mutual respect and support.
I would like to request everyone to work on resolving this issue at the ground level.

What an utterly disgusting situation. The first thing a medical student learns at Bihar’s Purnia Medical University is how to disrespect others whether it’s the interns, HODs, clerks,or nurses. This behavior goes completely against Indian culture & values. @bihar_police@NMC_IND

This is a profession meant for serving others. If the roots of these students are grounded in disrespecting elders and seniors, how will they treat their patients? A person who lacks humanity has no place in a noble profession like medicine and should be barred from it. @NMC_IND
Even the dress code for first-year students is being dictated by second-year students. Are they bigger than the college authorities, or are the authorities complicit in this harassment and ragging? @News18Bihar@bihar_police@BJP4Bihar@BiharTakChannel@NMC_IND

This video is from RAM KRISHNA MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, BHOPAL, where authority is demanding 2 lakh rupees from FMGs to start internship.
In violation of @NMC_IND's guidelines, this college and authorities are unlawfully demanding money for internships without proper notice or documentation.
Furthermore, their behavior towards and harassment of FMGs is a grave concern, highlighting the harsh realities of medical education. The @NMC_IND@CMMadhyaPradesh@DrMohanYadav51 should promptly address this issue. @FordaIndia@DrPandeyRML@sarkari_doctor@drsfaizanahmad@DalmiyaDr@FAIMA_INDIA_@DrDhruvchauhan@Indian__doctor #MedTwitter

Disturbing incident reported from the labor room at IGIMS, Patna where senior staff allegedly abused their authority, causing severe distress to residents. This unacceptable behavior highlights the urgent need for systemic change. @dm_patna@bihar_police@BiharTakChannel
It’s disheartening to see Dainik Bhaskar mock doctors who are protesting for justice. At a time when healthcare professionals are fighting for the safety and dignity of their colleagues, this kind of insensitive portrayal is unacceptable.
Shame on you @DainikBhaskar
