This is Ganga public school where the parents are being assau!ted for questioning their daughters safety, safety first for our daughters.

It's time to stop saying "Holiday."

Just like we say "holy water," "holy place," and "holy Bible," the day itself is a holy day.

In our childhood, we never questioned the choice of words because the previous generation had experienced the mindset of colonial slavery but not anymore.

Call it simply "Sunday," or in our own languages: "Ravivaar ki chhutti," "Bhanuvaarada raje," or just "Ravivaar / Bhanuvaara."

Do you think we should all take this step to reclaim our linguistic pride?
