Nah, Asmongold is just a Nazi with a "useless eater" argument. If you listen to what he is saying and think to yourself, "yup... this is the exact perspective of everyone who isn't morally against this situation, full stop" you're part of the problem.
This is that same evil calculus undergirding the horrors of genocide, eugenics, and MAID. It doesn’t matter if it comes from the “Left” or the “Right.”
Evil is evil, no matter who preaches it.
I'm against killing babies.
"But what if..."
I am against killing babies.
"Yeah but when..."
I am against killing babies.
"Would you if..."
I am against killing babies.
"But..."
I am against fucking killing babies.
You can't argue with these people b/c they think aborting a fetus is tantamount to murdering a fully formed human being when it just isn't.
The issue here is that they decided to share their decision publicly because they're the type of people who use internet clout as therapy.
The truth is, Jesse, it doesn’t matter if:
•Your baby had Trisomy 21.
•The decision was made lightly or after agonizing over it.
•People shared painful personal stories with you.
•Your doctors, friends, family, or genetic counselors told you it was okay.
•Other people supported your decision.
•Down syndrome would have brought real challenges.
•Your baby may have had heart defects, hearing loss, vision problems, immune issues, developmental delays, learning disabilities, low muscle tone, facial differences, or a shortened lifespan.
•It would have been hard on your family.
•Your child may have depended on you for the rest of your life.
•Every other parent in the world would have made the same choice.
•You do not feel shame.
None of that changes the moral reality.
Your child’s diagnosis did not make him less human. His dependency did not make him disposable. His suffering did not give anyone the right to end his life.
It was wrong to kill your child.
Agreed. They should have stayed silent on the matter. I don't care about the choice they made for themselves. I hate that people use the Internet as therapy for their personal baggage.
This whole story about Jesse Ridgway and his wife, choosing to publicly announce the termination of their unborn baby because it has down syndrome makes me so upset and disappointed in humanity.
Sorry that baby wasn’t “perfect“ enough for you guys!
That baby deserved to live!
Someone who sits at home all day streaming for money is a drain on society. Bro produces nothing useful and steals the attention of people who actually add value to the world.
I don't judge them for making a decision that they thought was right for them.
I judge them for making it a public matter and then getting annoyed when people have feelings about it.
YouTuber Jesse Ridgway and his wife complain about being victims of ‘abuse’ after announcing they aborted their Down Syndrome baby.
“It has been shocking. Close people to us, very judgmental, religious based- saying we’re going to burn in hell.”
It's absolutely wild how fucking Hitlerite this man is. He can't even come at it with a "it is a hard personal choice, but I respect the individual decision" because he is too focused on a final solution aspect. Jesus Christ.
I guess not showering fries your brain.
The average player is 36 years old.
People use games to relax, socialize, compete, and explore worlds in ways that movies and TV simply can't offer.
The idea that gaming is "just for kids" feels about 30 years out of date.
