Dramatization of the accident from the 2023 movie "Ferrari". Believe it or not, from the pictures (and descriptions) this is actually a "soft" depiction of that tragedy. It was so bad it actually killed the race.
ALERT: Prolific DUI driver decapitates a woman when he was allegedly drunk driving a pontoon boat 80 MPH in a no-wake zone.
Richard Stevenson, 45, was seen flying across the Fox River in Illinois in his 30-foot pontoon boat, expected to be traveling 80 MPH.
Stevenson was seen by a security camera zooming down the river and, about an hour and a half later, seen flying by again in the other direction.
Shortly after, the family that recorded his boat heard a massive crash.
Stevenson entered a no-wake zone and flew into the back of a boat, causing his boat to jump on top of it, decapitating a woman and injuring her husband.
2 passengers on Stevenson's boat fled the scene but were later interviewed by police and said Stevenson, who blew a .20 BAC, had taken several Fireball shots that day.
Stevenson, who has 3 prior DUI’s, faces three felony charges, including reckless homicide and aggravated driving under the influence.
Darian Mensah’s six interceptions are lying to you.
He threw for 3,973 yards and 34 touchdowns at Duke, so the surface-level résumé looks like a quarterback who protected the football all season.
PFF still credited him with 21 turnover-worthy plays. He also put the ball on the ground nine times.
That is the Hidden Turnover Tax.
Duke simplified portions of the job by building predetermined reads before the snap. Miami is asking him to work through progressions and make more decisions after the ball is snapped. That gives him access to more answers, but it also makes every bad habit more expensive.
I still like the bet. Mensah has already produced at a high level, and Shannon Dawson helped Cam Ward become more disciplined with the football.
The most important fall camp number will be Mensah’s turnover-opportunity rate. Every broken play that ends with the next snap instead of a giveaway moves Miami closer to the team it thinks it has.
If Miami gets the 34-touchdown production and removes even a third of the hidden turnovers, Darian Mensah is a national championship quarterback.
When Dire Straits took the stage at Live Aid in '85, most fans had no idea why Sting joined them, but when he started singing the opening lyrics to "Money For Nothing", they realized it was his voice on the radio hit which widely went unnoticed til then 🔥 Goosebumps when Mark Knopfler finally plays that guitar riff and the crowd takes over for the drums.
In this 1984 BBC studio performance of ‘Blue Monday’, New Order look almost unaware that they are creating one of the most influential electronic tracks in music history — just four people in a room, headphones on, casually shaping the future of dance music.
May 1, 1983. Negev desert. Two jets in a hard training fight 1 A-4 vs 1 F-15D. Then the unthinkable. Mid-air collision. One jet turns into a fireball. The F-15D is missing its entire right wing... sheared off clean just two feet from the fuselage. Nothing left but a bleeding stub and a white cloud of fuel pouring into the sky. The jet snaps into a violent roll. Back-seater is screaming “EJECT!” The pilot looks at the instruments, shoves both throttles into full afterburner, and says “F--- that.” With half an airplane and pure American thrust, he fights the roll, keeps the nose up, and flies the one-winged Eagle all the way to a runway. Approaches at twice normal landing speed. Hits the concrete so hard the tailhook rips clean off. The jet stops 20 feet from the end of the runway. Only then does the pilot look out the side and realize the wing is completely gone. McDonnell Douglas engineers later put it best: “The F-15 has such a massive lifting body and so much excess thrust that if you keep the speed up… you don’t even need wings.” That same jet was fixed and went right back to work. The Eagle doesn’t quit. The Eagle just keeps flying. #F15 #F15Eagle #EaglePower #AviationHistory #USAF 🦅🔥
Trump’s face has the texture of an old baseball glove marinated in KFC gravy and spray-painted traffic-cone orange. Every wrinkle, jowl and crease looks like it’s desperately trying to escape the bullshit inside. Holy fuck what an ugly pedophile he is.
Charlie Sheen reflects on the emotional toll Apocalypse Now took on his father, Martin Sheen, and the heartbreaking moment he realized something had changed.
Apocalypse Now damn near killed the cast and Francis Ford Coppola. Typhoons wiped out sets, tropical diseases and parasites tore through the crew, Sheen had a near-fatal heart attack, Hopper was lost in a fog of drugs and alcohol, Coppola had breakdowns and seizures… delays, chaos, and madness for over a year. The production itself became the war. Any Apocalypse Now fans?

Joe Rogan hears one of the most fascinating vampire theories ever created and it completely changes the mythology.
The theory starts with one question: what if vampires weren’t supernatural monsters at all?
What if they were a predator species, 10x more intelligent than humans, that evolved for one purpose: keeping the human population under control, the same way lions keep prey populations in check.
Instead of surviving on gallons of blood, they only need a single enzyme found in human blood. Everything else about their diet is normal.
The most brilliant part is something called the “crucifix glitch.”
Their brains evolved to detect patterns in nature, where right angles barely existed. But when humans began building cities, temples, and churches filled with horizontal and vertical lines, their visual cortex started malfunctioning.
What people thought was a vampire being repelled by a cross wasn’t religion.
It was a neurological defect triggered by right angles.
The cross became a myth because nobody understood the biology behind it.
As humans built more cities, the environment itself became hostile to the species. They couldn’t hunt, couldn’t adapt, and eventually disappeared.
The theory gets even darker.
The story imagines a pharmaceutical company bringing them back through dormant DNA hidden in human genetics.
But once the creature is recreated, it’s immediately smarter than the scientists who created it.
It’s like a herd of cows genetically engineering a wolf.
The wolf has no intention of staying inside the cage.
It’s one of those sci-fi concepts that completely changes how you think about vampire folklore.
Graham Hancock just dropped a devastating blow to mainstream archaeology with the Great Pyramid of Giza.
“It’s a 6 million ton monument… more than 2 million individual blocks of stone.”
“The Great Pyramid is aligned within 3/60ths of a single degree to true north… on a 6 million ton monument.”
“It sits almost exactly on latitude 30 which is 1/3rd of the way between the north pole and the equator.”
“And it incorporates the dimensions of the earth on a scale of 1 to 43,200 in its own dimensions.”
“So if you take the height of the Great Pyramid and multiply it by 43,200… you get the polar radius of the earth. Measure the base perimeter of the Great Pyramid… multiply it by the same factor, 43,200, and you get the equatorial circumference of the Earth.”
“Archaeologists know this. They say it’s a coincidence, total coincidence, just by chance.”
“However, I could agree with them actually if the scale was not 1 to 43,200. But the fact that it’s 1 to 43,200 changes everything because that belongs to a sequence of numbers that is found in ancient mythology all around the world… multiples of the number 72… derive from… the precession of the equinoxes.”
