@sesnyderleb@Duck_Hunter_Tx I suppose we could make them 200ft high if that fixes it? All programs should immediately purchase these longer uprights regardless of the cost! D3, D2, FCS, and D1 all use the same rule, so maybe this could get fixed nationwide before week 5?
@jaskline2007@VesuviusHambone@Texas_Doge That would be correct if he goes OOB on his own, returns, and is the FIRST to touch the pass. If he never returns and still has status as an OOB player, it would simply make this incomplete.
@Texas_Doge@amyknowsball Whether it’s a pass, a kick, a fumble, at the end of the day, we’re dealing with an OOB player. A player who is OOB, causes the ball to be OOB upon touching it. In the play above, this is a free kick OOB.
@jasongordo626@dannykanell Pretty sure that was my point. 🙄. I didn’t say you could only drop kick following a safety but the exception for being behind the Team A restraining line applies only to a safety.
@dannykanell@jasongordo626 You’re only allowed to use a drop kick following a safety from behind the restraining line. This kickoff was not following a safety so a drop kick wasn’t legal from behind the 35 yard line.
@Brad_dad@HaterReport If you’re the coach at a major university, there’s no way you’re benching your best player(s) over a gesture that didn’t draw a flag. It sounds nice when you type it out on X, but in likelihood, you’re gonna be happy with the win however you get it as a HC at this level. 🤷🏾♂️
