Neither of these individuals is considered an idol by Muslims.

Umar Khalid is an atheist yet many Muslims support him because he has been unjustly targeted for raising concerns affecting Muslims.

Abdul Kalam practiced Hindu traditions to an extent that many Muslims would no longer consider him a Muslim. He never specifically raised Muslim concerns, for whatever reason, nor did he work against Muslims, therefore, we neither regard him as an idol nor speak ill of him on political matters.

Our support for Umar Khalid is political only. This also proves that Muslims do not support people solely on the basis of religion, unlike Hindus who celebrate mrderers and rpists simply because they share the same faith.

Thousands of students and youth who have no affiliation with NSUI or IYC - also joined these protests. They too are the voice of Gen Z.

Yet, did you see this on prime-time news?

Did you see the courage, the sweat, the blood, and the resolve of these young Indians?

No. You did not.

And that itself tells you everything about whose voices the system wants to amplify and whose it wants to suppress.
