@JonHeyman Just want to point out that precedence has already been set on a guy who plays dh winning a gold glove. Rafael Palmeiro won the AL Gold Glove at 1B in 1999 even though he played far more games at DH (128) than at first base (28). 🤷‍♂️

@pamsson 1 year 15 million you can drop into the lineup and expect 40 homers. He’s a righty bat, and rather than look for outfield, keep what you got and drop Geno at third with McMahon. Rosario only 2M off bench so that shouldn’t stop you from adding. GM’s job is to collect talent

@pamsson Of course they will ask for the 🌙 , as they should, but I think the peralta deal set the market there. Yes, Skubs is better, that’s not a ?, so the package for Skubs will be better too but it’s not 2 prospects for peralta and 2 bonafide MLB guys plus top prospect better.
