طالت الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية الأراضي الزراعية في زوطر الشرقية، إذ أفاد أهالي البلدة بأنّ الاحتلال اقتلع نحو 600 شجرة زيتون معمّرة تعود ملكيتها لعائلات من البلدة، مستخدمًا آليات ثقيلة خلال عمليات التوغل في المنطقة، ما ألحق خسائر كبيرة بالمزارعين، وسط تساؤلات عن مصير الأشجار والجهة التي نُقلت إليها.

لم ينضم لبنان إلى اتفاقية روما. هناك معارضات من جهات عديدة. لذلك تتعذر عليه مقاضاة إسرائيل امام المحكمة الجنائية الدولية. لكنه يستطيع قبول اختصاص المحكمة المذكورة لفترة محددة.اقرت الحكومة السابقة ذلك ثم تراجعت. ولم تستطع الحكومة الحالية في العام الماضي العودة عن ذاك التراجع. لكن للأفراد اللبنانيين الحق في مقاضاة اسرائيل امام محاكم أوروبية. وشرع بعضهم في ممارسة هذا الحق.

US Congressman Ro Khanna says he and his delegation were detained by armed Israeli settlers during a visit to the occupied West Bank, despite the settlers and Israeli forces being informed that an American congressman and other US citizens were inside the vehicle.

Khanna said Israeli forces sided with the settlers instead of protecting the American delegation.

Khanna said the group was surrounded by settlers carrying US-made M4 machine guns while visiting the Palestinian hamlet of Khirbet Zanuta to witness the aftermath of settler attacks.

He said the armed settlers blocked their vehicle for more than an hour before calling the Israeli military.

Speaking after the incident, Khanna said the settlers and Israeli soldiers laughed after being told there was an American congressman on board.

He described the settlers as "hoodlums" carrying machine guns and said the IDF was "on their side, not on the side of the Americans."

He described the incident as evidence of "the arrogance of power", "total impunity", and "a toxic culture of oppression."

NEW ISRAELI CEASEFIRE VIOLATION: An Israeli drone strike killed four civilians as they were returning from their family home in Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

The victims are Esperanza Ghandour, the principal of a School, her mother, a foreign domestic worker and a Syrian worker.

Preventing displaced people from returning home once hostilities are over is a violation of international humanitarian law.

The family of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya says his health has sharply deteriorated after more than 555 days in Israeli prisons.

Dr. Abu Safiya had served as a pediatrician and director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza until he was abducted by Israel in December of 2024. He's been held without charge ever since.

In a video message, Dr. Abu Safiya's son Elyas said his father showed clear signs of torture and medical neglect during a recent meeting with his lawyer in which Dr. Abu Safiya described being beaten with a hammer.

"My father was unable to breathe. My father was unable to speak. His face was disfigured from the marks of torture and pain," Elyas Abu Safiya said. "We still call out, plead, appeal and beg to all the free people of the world, and to everyone with an atom of humanity in their heart, to save my father's life before it's too late."

استهدفت مسيّرة إسرائيلية سيّارة جيب شيروكيه في النبطية الفوقا، في حي البريد عند طريق دار المعلمين والمعلمات، ما أدّى إلى استشهاد ركّابها الأربعة وهم: السيّدة اسبيرانزا فخري غندور، ووالدتها، وعامل سوري، وعاملة أجنبية، بحسب ما ذكرت الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام. وكان الأربعة يتفقّدون منزل العائلة، ثم استُهدفوا بعد مغادرته. ويُشار أنّ غندور هي مديرة مدرسة يوسف شمعون الرسمية في النبطية الفوقا.

يُذكَر أنّ الاعتداءات على النبطية الفوقا لم تتوقّف، وقد سبق الغارة إلقاء قنبلتَين صوتيَّتَين على دفعتَين، عند حي الدير، بالإضافة إلى غارةٍ شُنَّت أمس الأحد.
