We are devastated by the passing of Ace Frehley. He was an essential and irreplaceable rock soldier during some of the most formative foundational chapters of the band and its history. He is and will always be a part of KISS's legacy. Our thoughts are with Jeanette, Monique and all those who loved him, including our fans around the world.
The NY State Department of Health confirmed a case of locally acquired chikungunya on Long Island. Chikungunya is a mosquito-borne disease most common in tropical and subtropical regions. https://t.co/lqJHMR7vn9

Happy to share our latest paper on antiviral activity of BromAc against Omicron variant. A study was mainly conducted in BSL-3 lab with both in vitro and ex vivo samples. It was another great work with my supervisor, Jordana Coelho-dos-Reis.

Mourning the loss of Dr. Diane Griffin, who passed away on Monday.
Dr. Griffin was a founding member of @CMM_JHU and chaired our advisory board. A distinguished virologist, she was an elected member of Natl Acad Sci and Natl Acad Med. We remember her with gratitude.
“Universities are losing their top talent as scientists confront waning motivation, misaligned ideals, workplace toxicity, inequalities, poor work-life balance, clinical burnout, and mental health deterioration.”

I contributed to exceptional work by the Jonatas Abrahão group alongside other collaborators. Work was selected as an Editor's Pick in the Journal of Virology.
Check it out! Featuring classical virology detailing superinfection inhibition triggered by giant viruses.
