I wasn't sure if this was a 480p+ CRT monitor but turns out it's a standard consumer CRT. Amazing to create at such a low resolution but also you instantly get to see how the artwork will look on a 15khz display with regards to scanlines.

@Galaxy_Felo@ArmorCoach The spikes aren't random, it's actually a really cool design and consistent in every shot. What you're calling spikes is the arm that holds the smaller lens.
OMG it makes so much sense that ED-209 was designed by the great Nilo Rodis-Jamero, a Filipino artist who also contributed key iconic designs to the original Star Wars trilogy, who was very open about being influenced by anime and tokusatsu!
