For Tuesday's Floor Session I was asked to give the prayer for the Assembly. It's always a good way to start out a session by giving thanks to God for the opportunities we have. Thank you to my colleagues for extending this honor.
On Wednesday the constitutional amendment proposal that I authored, Assembly Joint Resolution 102, received a hearing in the State Senate AJR 102 restores Merit, Fairness, and Equality to all Wisconsin governmental entities.
Recently, I testified at a public hearing held by the State Senate Committee on Universities and Technical Colleges on the Senate version of Assembly Bill 406 which places tuition caps on the University of Wisconsin System.
I met with the Wisconsin Cheesemakers Association this week to discuss problems facing Wisconsin’s dairy manufacturers. As a member of the Assembly Committee on Agriculture I always appreciate hearing from WCMA and look forward to our continued work. Thank you Amelia and Rebekah.
Last week the Assembly Committee on Elections held a hearing on Assembly Bill 385, the Stop Foreign Donations Affecting Our Elections Act. This common sense reform will ensure that foreign actors are kept out of Wisconsin elections.
On Tuesday the Assembly honored First Responders from across the state. I was honored to nominate Deputy Zackary Potter of the Outagamie County Sheriff's Department. Deputy Potter and his family are pictured here.
I serve as the Chairman of the Wisconsin Ireland Trade Commission which held it's quarterly meeting on Wednesday. We delt with a variety of issues, but the primary topic was Agricultural trade.
Today I'm proud to have voted for a package of bills to tackle Wisconsin's housing crisis. These bills cut red tape, find creative ways address the crisis, and passed with bipartisan support. Today is a big step in the right direction towards solving this crisis.
I recently attended a National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) trip to Ireland. As the Chairman of the Wisconsin Ireland Trade Commission I felt this was an great opportunity to promote Wisconsin abroad, and to continue to make connections that can benefit Wisconsin.

On Tuesday Anna Knocke and Cori Lamont from the Wisconsin Realtor's Association stopped by my office. We discussed the housing shortage and ways we could continue to address it.
On Thursday I had the pleasure of presenting my former staffer Steve Knudson with a commendation from Free Speech For Campus. I'm proud to serve on the board of FSFC, and it was my honor to present Steve with his well deserved commendation.
Last week I attended the 2025 Officer of the Year Awards dinner put on by the Greenville Lions club. I'm pictured here with Outagamie Sheriff Clint Kriewaldt who won the Patriot Award. As a member of the Greenville Lions, I always look forward to this event each year.
