There is a housing crisis in Massachusetts. Last week, we passed the Affordable Homes Act, meeting this crisis with a record $5.2 billion in bonding authorizations.

On Monday, Governor Healey signed a $57.78 billion Fiscal Year 2025 Budget, including $1.3 billion in Fair Share investments and key Progressive Caucus wins.

RMV Service Centers will resume non-commercial appointments at 2:00pm. Commercial learner’s permit and driver’s license appointments are cancelled today due to ongoing automated testing station issues. All road tests are still being conducted.

We are taking action to reach the Commonwealth’s clean energy goals. Yesterday, the House took action to address the climate crisis by passing an omnibus package to update siting and permitting laws related to clean energy infrastructure and increase our use of clean energy.

A lack in educator diversity directly impacts our Commonwealth’s children. Yesterday, adopted as amendment #471, the Educator Diversity Act passed the House with the Economic Development Bond Bill aimed at taking steps to address this.
