Asking people to swear allegiance to Charles and his heirs, means swearing allegiance to Andrew. In a democracy it is the Head of State who should swear allegiance to us. This is an offensive and tone deaf gesture that holds the people in contempt. #NotMyKing #AbolishTheMonarchy
The coronation is now expected to cost the country £250,000,000. That’s £173,611 a minute for every minute of the day on May 6. And for that we’re supposed to all pledge allegiance to Charles.
