This week all grades worked through grade level math questions to create THE code to send our Blue-bot to the MOON! It was a great way to check answers and see where mistakes were made. @BeebotCo@RobbinsRockets#Rocketsigniteandinspire#HiddenFigures
After earning 20 good behavior points, Ss earned a free choice day in STEM. They requested some free time to play with the VR Headsets and apps. (If students felt motion sick, they could switch to a Dash Robot.) @RobbinsRockets#Rocketsigniteandinspire
4th-5th Recreated Henry's box using: cardboard, duck-tape, and measuring tape. They worked in teams to create the sides, and put it all together as a class. We took turns climbing in and imagining how rough it must have been! #tightspace#visualizing#connecttothepast
PreK-1st Built a box for Henry to hide in. Then we loaded each box on top of a Dash robot (using Legos) and drove to freedom!

Robbins Elementary is an amazing place to learn!
Home to a K-5 Dual Language program, the students at Robbins are learning to speak, write, and read in English and Spanish. The amazing teachers at RES are true exemplars. Thank you for your commitment to the Robbins community.
For decades, the focus of K-12 education has been on reading and math. Social studies and science are given minamal time. Yet here we are in a global pandemic and racial unrest because people lack the basic understanding and principles of history and science. ๐คฆ๐ฟ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
What a great afternoon at Robbins Elementary! Thank you to this fabulous team of educators for embracing new ideas, working hard to analyze areas of improvement, and thinking outside of the box. Design thinking for the win! #engageinspiresuceed
