Erie, Pennsylvania's Central Fire Station is now fully powered by renewable energy, thanks to an innovative solar installation by Solar Revolution Erie, supported by Enphase! 🚒
As an emergency operations hub, this Central Fire Station requires 24/7 uptime, 365 days a year. To lead in sustainability and ensure climate resiliency, the City of Erie aimed for 100% renewable energy. With Enphase's innovative commercial solar products, Solar Revolution rose to the occasion.
John Purvis, Founder of Solar Revolution, shared his appreciation: "Enphase always looks for ways to make installers’ lives easier, from great training and customer support to smooth installations and reliable RMA processes."
Today, the City of Erie proudly showcases the Central Fire Station installation, leveraging the Kiosk View in the Enphase Installer Portal to display the system's clean energy production.

Republicans are targeting the Inflation Reduction Act’s $27 billion “green bank” program. Backers say the climate and clean energy loans they'll enable will grow jobs and private-sector financing in underserved communities in red and blue states alike: https://t.co/IQyD8rJQbk
Did you know that 73% of Texans believe that solar and battery storage makes the grid more resilient? Our colleagues at @SEIA found that solar is the most popular source of power in TX.
California Governor Newsom blocks California’s progress towards a 100% clean energy future.
❌ He vetoed SB 1374, which would have helped schools, apartments, and others with multiple electric meters adopt solar energy. This veto undermines fair access to clean energy.
❌ He signed AB 2292, eliminating regulations that promote affordability and support efficient distributed energy resources.
It’s disheartening to see utility company opposition derail critical progress, especially for low-wealth communities. We need leadership that prioritizes the well-being of all Californians over the interests of powerful utilities.

“ … and SB938 would stop ratepayers from paying for utility lobbying and advertising ... Passing these bills would be important first steps to reining in California’s rogue PUC and halting runaway energy rates.”

#California electricity regulators seem hellbent on reversing everything that made the state a leader in #energy: energy efficiency, solar, and now electrification (with the latest fixed charge proposal). 🧵
- Inflation Reduction Act repealed
- Paris climate agreement dead and buried
- EPA pollution rules overturned
- Climate scientists sidelined
