This is probably a stupid question, but when using an iGel with catheter mount and HME filter are we taught to put the BVM down during AED analysis and shock delivery? They are all made from insulating materials and certainly don’t represent a path of least resistance. #resus

@wwallywarren @FfHarding @DomChrisOwens @Xinyan_Huang @BatteryFires In Europe a lot of the CNG buses have tanks on the roof. With properly functioning pressure relief valves you would get jets of flame such as this. A BLEVE would not really occur unless the safety systems malfunctioned.

@FfHarding @DomChrisOwens @Xinyan_Huang @BatteryFires Pressure relief valves would prevent an explosion on an LPG/CNG Vehicle, but I can see why there is some debate as the jets are firing in two different directions. Im on the fence with this one 🤔

@keithca08751057 @PolScotCollege Attending incidents without basic first aid kit is like driving without a seatbelt. You won’t always need it, but when you do you will be really glad you had it. The environment we operate in has changed significantly, and all first responders should adapt to meet the challenge.

Some interesting comments on the patient report form poll. What is important to remember is that “if it wasn’t written down, it didn’t happen.” Should the worst happen written evidence is invaluable. All paperwork should follow the patient on their journey through the system.
