The Halloween means holy evening. It is the evening before All Saints Day, remembering who reflected Light of Christ. How did it get associate with darkness, witches and demons? #LightsforChrist. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.”

Minority Day 2025: Pakistani Diaspora in UK Highlights Progress and Challenges for Religious Minorities
A delegation of representatives from Pakistan’s minority communities in the United Kingdom met with the High Commissioner of Pakistan to UK @DrMFaisal today to mark National Minority Day. The meeting recalled Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s landmark address of 11 August 1947, reaffirming the founding vision of equality and religious freedom for all citizens. The delegation presented a memorandum recognising the significant measures taken by the Federal and Provincial Governments over the past year to enhance the welfare, security, and representation of religious minorities, including the launch of targeted civil services training, establishment of a Commission for the Protection of Minority Rights, expanded financial grants for minority festivals, and improved security for places of worship.
The diaspora representatives commended recent initiatives such as the Punjab Government’s @GovtofPunjabPK Minority Card, increased Christmas and Diwali grants, financial assistance for Sikh families, Sindh’s minority scholarship programmes, and the installation of CCTV cameras at hundreds of religious sites. These steps reflect a growing commitment to safeguarding the cultural, social, and economic rights of minorities across #Pakistan.
The High Commissioner reiterated the Government of Pakistan’s @GovtofPakistan resolve to uphold constitutional guarantees and foster an inclusive, safe, and equitable society for all, in line with the vision of the nation’s founder.

It is such an exciting news. I am very much looking forward to service alongside her.
Thanks be to God for the recognition of the services of CMEAC and many faithful for their sacrificial contributions. I am humbled to be numbered among them.
Delighted to host a dinner to celebrate the work of the Committee for Minority Ethnic Anglican Concerns. Racial justice is central to the work of the gospel, and I give thanks for the many people who have ensured the @ChurchofEngland rises up to this challenge.

Churchwardens’ (our unsung heroes) conference is highlight of my archidiaconal yearly calendar along with @malchamb @DioceseofSheff #TreasuringGod’sCreation #LightsforChrist Thankful to @JoChamberlain2 @PeteWilcox1564 and Dr Cathy Rhodes.
Last year on this day, I tweeted about the horrors of Jaranwala and alerted millions of people across social media and around the globe to the tragedy that was taking place as homes, churches and prayer rooms were being burnt to the ground. In the days that followed, the world saw the ashes of burnt Bibles and Crosses all over Jaranwala and we heard the testimony and witnessed the broken hearts of many brothers and sisters and the faithfulness of God. We are grateful to all those who stood by us in our year of grief and healing. May those who promised justice dispense it equally for all, giving the Christians of Pakistan the same hope as afforded to her more privileged population. What happened in Jaranwala changed us all and devastated us. May that change mean we will never settle for less than Justice.
Privileged to admit churchwardens to their office in an uplifting worship service in a full Minster Church this evening. They have offered to serve their church and community in these challenging times #Renewed#Released#Rejuvenated#LightsofChrist @DioceseofSheff
Really looking forward to spending the day with the newly elected Churchwardens for the training conference. @malchamb @DioceseofSheff #LightsforChrist
It was an emotional service @sheffcath@dioshef today to celebrate and give thanks to God for the priestly ministry of our sisters. I am grateful for the privilege to share the journey with some amazing women of God, too many to name here.
Safeguarding is at the heart of all that we do @dioshef Today we are gathered in Doncaster for celebrating the work of our Parish Safeguarding Oficeer and for a service of commissioning @revsophiejelley
I am yet again standing in solidarity and grief with the Christians of Sargodha. I strongly condemn today's unfortunate incident in Sargodha which is reminiscent of the violent attacks against Christians in Jaranwala in August last year. It's crucial that any allegation of blasphemy should be thoroughly investigated and the accused person should be given a fair chance of defense. Under no circumstances should mobs have the liberty to take the law into their own hands while law enforcement officials watch the violence as silent spectators. In an increasingly polarised society, we must ask who gives the mob such freedom to vilify and disrupt the constitutional rights of many. We need to foster an environment where dialogue replaces discord and where understanding transcends intolerance.
