Many seem to have underestimated the impact of the BBC ban of #GaryLineker
- those involved in team sports understand better than most the power of loyalty & solidarity
- @GaryLineker is a hugely popular sports presenter & gagging his social media seems undemocratic
- the ban the boats policy appears unjust & inhumane

This is just an immeasurably cruel policy. I’ve sat outside a refugee camp on a Greek Island and heard stories of absolutely awful suffering from vulnerable people looking for protection. #GaryLineker
