โก๏ธ MURPHY IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS -He is not thriving in the care center and is deteriorating in the Adoptions room. He is now displaying signs of overstimulation. โDeteriorating in the Adoptions Roomโ means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I am looking for a home with a patient person. I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you. Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! Murphy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home. โค๏ธ ๐ปโค๏ธ ๐ปโค๏ธ ๐ป

Without providing activity for his mind and body, the cat may react with rough play, potentially resulting in bite/scratch incidents. - This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some feline body language together! A volunteer writes: Milo wants to be part of the action, he just isn't always sure how to explain that to people. This is relatable and I feel for him. He's a go, go, go, go kind of cat who wants to do all this going at his own pace. Milo's improved quite a bit since coming to us and seems characteristically eager to demonstrate this through repeatedly leaping off his den with a flourish. Since I wasn't entirely sure where Milo was going with this, I offered a pipe cleaner feather, which happily kept his interest for a few moments before he decided nuzzles were better. Then he decided that it was probably best to see the town, as it were, leaning his whole little cat self over my arm in his efforts to get just a tiny bit better view. Milo's hoping to see and be seen, which though it might be easier said than done for a shelter cat such as himself, is hoping to be seen by you. โค๏ธ ๐ปโค๏ธ ๐ปโค๏ธ ๐ป
