During the Ottoman period, Muslims enjoyed performing all kinds of mutilations. Ears, noses, lips, tongues, breasts, and genitals were primarily cut off. Not just those, though. Let's recall here the Saint Raphael of Mytilene, who was hanged from a tree and had his lower jaw cut off, while the twelve-year-old martyr Irene was roasted in a barrel on the Tuesday of Easter in the year 1463, ten years after the fall of Constantinople.

In many cases, the severed body parts "adorned" the warrior collection of the janissary. The pashas gave bakshish (tips) to every "brave" Muslim warrior according to how many ears of "infidel" Christians he brought back. He himself confirmed his bravery and "manliness" among his peers by having a "komboloi" (worry beads) made from the nipples of breasts he had cut off from women. The bravest man was the one with the longest komboloi after a massacre and looting.

Blinding with various sharp objects was also common. This was particularly frequent during periods of massacres and atrocities. Many unfortunate Christians remained blind for the rest of their lives because they had the misfortune of a horde of janissaries passing through their land. The Egyptians under Ibrahim Pasha were especially notorious for this crime.

Many times Christian captives were placed in front of cannons that were fired, turning them into human shreds of flesh. In other cases, they were tied to galleys that sailed in opposite directions and were torn apart. Dismemberment of victims also occurred with horses.

Indeed, Islam is the religion of peace.

California has officially signed the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” (AB 2624) into law. This bill was created only after I exposed widespread fraud in immigrant communities across America, specifically in California’s Medicaid, nonprofits and other welfare programs funded by our tax dollars.

These politicians need the fraud to continue and they sadly use immigrants to do so often. They fund nonprofits and NGOs with hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars every year for immigration services, including free healthcare and have now made “immigration support service providers” essentially a protected class in California.

For example, if I film a hospice or a “learing center” with no patients receiving millions through Medicaid and the owner gives me a paper saying I cannot publish the video, I cannot publish it. If I publish it to expose them and they claim it caused them “fear” or a third party threatens them, I face a minimum $4,000 civil fine plus the legal fees of the individual or group suing me.

This bill was created by the Attorney General’s wife and co-sponsored by CHIRLA, a nonprofit that has received over $80,000,000 in taxpayer dollars for “immigrant support services.” Do you understand how this works yet? When the fraud is exposed, they create new laws to protect the fraudsters and penalize those who expose it.

By signing this bill, the Governor and California politicians expose themselves as the corrupt politicians they are. This is not the end, the fight has just begun. More to come soon, this is far from over.

I need to tell you something that makes me angrier than anything else in medicine.

60 randomized controlled trials. 323,950 patients. Every cholesterol-lowering drug ever made. Statins. PCSK9 inhibitors. Ezetimibe.

One question. Did lowering LDL cholesterol make people live longer?

Look at the chart. Every dot is a trial. The red line is zero benefit. If these drugs saved lives, the dots would be above the line.

They are not. They reduced LDL by up to 80%. Nobody was saved.

But that is not what makes me angry.

What makes me angry is that millions of people believe they are safe because their LDL is low. Their doctor says "your numbers look great." They go home and never think about it again.

Meanwhile the 12 things that actually cause heart disease are silently building inside them. Nobody is checking. Nobody is testing. Because a cholesterol number gave everyone a false sense of security.

That is not a failure of medicine. That is a fraud.

Does anyone remember this amazing story? On July 2, 1982, a truck driver from California flew 16,000 feet into the sky in a lawn chair. Larry Walters, 33, from San Pedro, had dreamed of flying his whole life. He bought 42 eight-foot helium weather balloons, tied them to a regular Sears lawn chair, strapped on a parachute, packed a BB gun to pop balloons to descend, a CB radio, sandwiches, and a six-pack of beer.
He expected to float a few hundred feet above his backyard. He cut the rope and shot up like a rocket — to 16,000 feet. He drifted directly into the main approach path for LAX. Two airline pilots radioed the tower: they had just passed a man in a lawn chair holding a gun at 16,000 feet. For 45 minutes, he floated over Los Angeles, freezing cold, too scared to shoot balloons because he might fall. Finally, he started popping balloons one by one and slowly descended.
He landed tangled in power lines in Long Beach, California, causing a blackout. When police arrested him, they asked why he did it. He said, "A man can't just sit around." The FAA fined him $4,000. He became a national folk hero — Lawnchair Larry — and inspired the movie Up.

Most people never read about the pogroms against the Greek Christians of Constantinople carried out by Muslim Turks that took place in 1955, just 70 years ago. These events took place roughly 30 years after the Greek-Armenian-Assyrian genocide, which was motivated by both religious and racial hatred. By then, the goal was to completely erase every remaining Greek element from Asia Minor.

Their next target was the once-Greek Constantinople. It was a warm September evening in 1955, in the heart of Constantinople, a city still echoing with the ghosts of its Greek-Byzantine past.

The Greek community was already marginalized by years of discriminatory policies, felt the weight of suspicion. After the fall of Constantinople, thousands were slaughtered, but they tried to keep the flame alive. But, on September 6 (1955), a false report spread like a spark in dry grass: a bomb had allegedly damaged the Turkish consulate in Thessaloniki, near the house where Mustafa Kemal was born.

The bombing was a staged provocation, orchestrated by Turkish authorities to incite rage. By dusk, Constantinople was a tinderbox. Mobs, organized and armed with clubs, knives, and gasoline, poured into the streets, targeting Greek homes, businesses, and churches. The government’s role was clear; lists of Greek properties had been prepared in advance, and the police stood by, complicit or indifferent. It was all staged. A plan with only one purpose. To murder innocent Greek Christians that were living peacefully in the land of their ancestors, in the City that was built by their fathers.

A crowd, chanting Kemalist slogans just like the days of the Genocide of 1922, smashes windows, looting everything; shelves, ovens, even family photos. The mob moves with precision, targeting Greek-owned properties. Churches, like the Zoodochos Pigi in Balat, are desecrated; holy icons are shattered, and altars burned. The Greek cemetery in Şişli is vandalized, graves defiled in an orgy of destruction.

4,348 Greek businesses, 110 hotels, 27 pharmacies, 23 schools, and 73 churches were damaged or destroyed.

Many Greeks were killed, hundreds injured and numerous women assaulted. The mobs, often transported from outside Constantinople, carried out their rampage over two days, September 6–7, leaving the Greek community in ruins.

The pogrom was a death knell. Many lost everything; homes, livelihoods, security. Greeks of Constantinople were reducing over time already after the fall in 1453. But that was the final hit.

The exodus of Greeks from Turkey, reduced the community of over 250.000 to fewer than 2.000 today.

As dawn broke on September 7, Constantinople became "Istanbul".

The last Greeks, descendants of those who found the City, who built the city, who defended the City, who had history in this City, were expelled from their ancestral homeland.

Streets were littered with broken glass and shattered dreams. The Greek community, a cornerstone of the city’s history, was left to pick up the pieces.

That was, the anti-Greek "Istanbul pogrom" that took place on 6–7 September 1955.

These events are fresh in our memories.

How can we forget all the thing they did to us?

They came and they expelled Greeks from their homes, their ancestral lands.

Constantinople, Asia Minor, Cappadocia, Pontus, Cyprus, Ionia. We will never forget, everything they did to us.

We will never coexist with them.

This is a church in Otranto, Italy.

These are real skulls belonging to Christians who were beheaded by muslim invaders for refusing to convert.
