When lawyers quoted him six figures to clear all the samples on INNANETAPE for streaming, @VicMensa scoffed.
Turns out, that number was accurate.
13 years after its free release, the mixtape is finally commercially available.
I called Vic to walk through what it took. 🧵
@bookdfootball Sorry for being technologically challenged - is there somewhere in the app we can do this instead of the browser?
No worries not, just want it tied in to the other stuff on my account there🙂
@Jsize18 This is the real reason.
It’ll will come down to being willing to take blood money or not, and if not, how UAE fry relations due to a tough stance taken against them from a once friend.
🚨 | BREAKING: #ManCity were CLEARED of Charge 4(B).
That allegation formed part of the Premier League’s case that City failed to co-operate with its investigation — but the Commission found the club did not breach its co-operation duties in the respects alleged under 4(B).
Jack Rodwell, Joleon Lescott, John Stones and Iliman Ndiaye. Four of Everton's best players at the time.
Everton sold to make real money to comply with the rules. Man City bought them with fake money, with no regard for the rules.
Think how twisted that is.
This sort of delusion only comes from a cancerous fanbase like Manchester United’s. Salah is on course to beat their beloved Cristiano Ronaldo’s record scoring season in the PL, and their only argument is to bring up the only poor game Salah has had all season - obsessed. https://t.co/tHony6pNTq
Not a ball knower unfortunately. Suarez was genuinely unplayable against City that day and created 3 absolutely insane chances in the first half while captaining us because Gerrard was injured.
Effectively assisted the opening goal to put us 1-0 up, before Allen messed up a clearance on the line and Mignolet had an absolute howler to put us down 2-1.
Arguably a top 5 game for him that season, in a season where he had hattricks and 4 goals in a game!
Across the nine seasons they were accused of not providing accurate information, Manchester City spent £1.943billion on wages, over £100m more than any other English club. In 17 Abu Dhabi-controlled years to the end of 2024-25, their combined wage bill was £4.963bn.
At Manchester United and Chelsea, the next-highest combined bills in England, the figure is around £600m lower. It is a staggering difference.
Since 2009-10 (the first season the charges relate to), the Premier League has dished out more than £6bn in merit payments to 42 different clubs. City received £559.6m (9%).
They have played in the Champions League every year from 2011-12 onwards, achieving qualification in eight of the nine years the charges spanned.
Such qualification naturally means others missed out. On that particular measure, Tottenham Hotspur were worst hit, landing one spot outside of the Champions League on four occasions during that spell. Their Europa League earnings from those occasions totalled a combined £28.8million; City made £141m from the Champions League in the same seasons.
It is not just those fighting for titles or European spots who may feel they’ve missed out. What of the beaten cup finalists? What of the clubs who might have avoided relegation if City’s results were scrubbed out?

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City found guilty on virtually all charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial regulations. #MCFC expected to appeal against verdict issued by independent commission. Sanctions undecided, process ongoing @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/Muxqp4beK9
I built a game for @FourFourTwo – all you have to do is select an XI that has scored 442 goals in Premier League history.
Lot of work went into this: should you keep you occupied for the long international break (or at the very least, your lunch break)
