The inquiry commissioned to investigate the Champions League final fiasco has found UEFA responsible for the carnage.
The panel concludes Liverpool fans saved lives and it is "remarkable" that nobody died.
A huge win for fans.

This is what we saw, French Minister and UEFA officials trying to put the blame on LFC fans is absolutely disgusting. @UEFA should not be allowed to run a final anymore.
@amandosfalcon@UEFA Thank you for your testimony, Amando. Sorry you and your family had to go through this. The whole thing was a shambles. Congrats to Madrid on the result
@28mikec@BBC_HaveYourSay@SkyKaveh@BBCNewsPR Still can't believe it. Poor lad got sprayed as we got through the tiny gap. Massive crush meant the police had to let some through. Truly frightening experience! Why put the fence half up the road? Just fence off the entrance and we wouldn't have been there
@KahunaBaby@JOE_co_uk@romankemp@ChampionsLeague His dad was stood behind him. I took the pic as evidence of the treatment by police. Many people will still be in shock as it was truly frightening
A raw snapshot of the scenes last night. Fans suffering from being tear-gassed while queuing. Police finally arriving to deal with aggressive locals - also caught breaching in - cheered. Measured accounts amid being awfully treated.
@scousecharms I had hoped you’d see the photo and get in touch. I was struggling to see at the time but had to take the pic as evidence. The police were disgusting. Why fence off that road half way up?! Made no sense at all. The crush was the worst part
@scousecharms Thanks for your message & for helping the lad. I assumed you were his dad but now realise he must have been the chap stood behind. That spray was horrid! We were gate H & managed to get in .. but only after getting pepper sprayed much worse when passing the fence. Did you get in?
The French police used tear gas on us tonight. We were just trying to get in. They also used tear gas on children. Absolutely disgusting behaviour #UCLFinal2022#Police
@vaicron226@bouliboulibouli I saw this French boy suffer from tear gas. I was gassed at the same time. The same police who gassed him then tried to help. Too little, too late. Shame on Macron. Shame on France.
@OddJob_77 @MerseyPolice Madrid fans also got the tear gas. Kids too. We got it twice and could hardly breath. Disgraceful from the police and total lack any proper organisation
@StephenJohnJam4@markefc69@MerseyPolice Spot on. We were gassed along with this French boy, his parents and this Madrid fan. The police did not discriminate. We had tickets, behaved and had two doses of tear gas
@johnnywhitts@_PaulHayward Incorrect. Saw the police gassing French families and Spanish .. it was indiscriminate. There was no need to have so few gates open. It was dangerous from the start
@Lamby05@Richard_hammond@henrywinter@chriswarburton_ We were held back for no reason in a neutral zone. The police gassed LFC and Madrid fans, including children. In our area everyone had UEFA tickets .. except the locals who were causing trouble
@FifaBeard@JBurtTelegraph Incorrect. From the neutral zone we could see thousands of empty seats at 8.15z We got in after the police used tear gas on us. Only people causing trouble were locals. The police caused a crush of people and sprayed English, French and Spanish families. Out of control
@NCStaar@GaryLineker We were there. Only saw bad behaviour from locals. We couldn’t get into the neutral zone and our crowd of fans from both sides were pepper sprayed. This caused a crush as people tried to get away
@YToffees @GaryLineker We were there and they aren’t climbing into the ground. They are avoiding a crush. It was frightening. Why tweet without firsthand knowledge?
