There is a prayer that reveals the true condition of the human heart.

It is not the prayer that seeks only blessings, comfort, success, or protection.

It is the prayer that says:

“Lord, give me what I need to fulfil Your will.”

In today’s First Reading (1 Kings 3:5, 7–12), we encounter one of the most beautiful moments in the life of King Solomon.

After Solomon offered sacrifices to God, the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said:

“Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

Imagine standing before God Himself and receiving such an invitation.

Solomon could have asked for riches.
He could have asked for a long life.
He could have asked for victory over his enemies.
He could have asked for power and glory.

But instead, Solomon asked for something greater:

“Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to govern your people.”

He asked for wisdom.

He asked for the grace to serve God’s people faithfully.

And Scripture tells us that the Lord was pleased with this request because Solomon did not seek personal greatness but the ability to fulfil the mission God had entrusted to him.

Because Solomon sought what was pleasing to God, the Lord gave him not only wisdom but also blessings he did not ask for.

This teaches us a profound truth:

The greatest prayers are not always the ones that ask God to change our circumstances, but the ones that ask God to transform our hearts.

Jesus Himself taught us this when He said:

“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.”
(Matthew 6:33)

And in the Garden of Gethsemane, our Lord gave us the perfect example of surrender:

“Not my will, but Yours, be done.”
(Luke 22:42)

A prayer that pleases God is a prayer that places His will above our own.

It says:

“Lord, give me wisdom before wealth.”
“Give me holiness before success.”
“Give me faithfulness before recognition.”
“Give me the grace to become the person You created me to be.”

There is nothing wrong with asking God for health, provision, family, opportunities, or protection.

Our Heavenly Father cares about every detail of our lives.

But above every desire should be this:

To know God’s will.
To love Him more deeply.
To serve Him faithfully.
And to become instruments of His grace in the world.

Today, let us examine our prayer lives:

Are we only asking God to bless our plans?

Or are we surrendering our plans to God and asking Him to lead us?

The prayer that pleases the heart of God is the prayer of a humble soul that says:

“Lord, not my will, but Yours.
Make me wise. Make me faithful. Make me holy.”

May the Holy Spirit teach us to pray with a heart like Solomon’s, and may the Blessed Virgin Mary, who perfectly surrendered her life to God’s plan with her “Fiat”, help us always say:

“Let it be done to me according to Your word.”
(Luke 1:38)

Jesus died at 33. The human spine has 33 vertebrae. The same structure that holds us up is the same number of years He held this Earth.

We have 12 ribs on each side. 12 disciples. 12 tribes of Israel. God built His design into our bones. He wrote Heaven into our anatomy.

The vagus nerve runs from your brain to your heart and gut. It calms storms inside the body. It looks just like a cross. That’s the power source running through us. Every time your body heals, every time your heart slows in prayer, every time peace shows up when it shouldn’t…that’s Him.

Jesus rose on the third day. Science tells us that when you fast for 3 days, your body starts regenerating. Old cells die. New ones are born. Healing begins. Your body literally resurrects itself. That’s not coincidence. That’s design.

And it keeps going.

Your heart has an electrical rhythm. Your brain lights up when you pray. Tears contain different chemicals depending on if you're crying from joy or grief. The blood speaks. The bones store memory. The body worships whether you realize it or not.

We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are walking prophecy. Walking tabernacles. Dust and divinity in one.

God didn’t just create you. He carved Himself into you.

You don’t need to look far to find Him. You just need to look inward. He’s been in the design since the beginning.

Many think Communism is just a political theory. It is not.

Communism is a spiritual weapon of the devil, designed to enslave souls, destroy the Church, and erase God from the hearts of Men.

This is why saints stood up to it.

Why is communism demonic? Because communism begins with atheism. It denies God and His Church.

Man is reduced to a number in the collective.

The State becomes "god". The Church becomes the enemy. This is not just a political theory. Its satanic.

Can a christian be a communist? No. The Church has made this absolutely clear. Pope Pius XII decreed in 1949: Catholics who professed atheistic communist doctrine to be excommunicated as apostates from the Christian faith.

To support Communism is to support a system that seeks to crucify Christ anew, in His Church, in His poor, in His priests.

Socialist and communist regimes have persecuted the Church and its faithful since their inception. From Venerable Cardinal József Mindszenty in Hungary; He was arrested, tortured, drugged, and forced into a show trial. But he never renounced the Faith.

To the Martyrs of Ukraine of 1946 when Stalin outlawed the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

To the modern day where Christians, and the Church, in China, North Korea and Venezuela are persecuted. Just last month Maduro's regime had arrested a Cardinal and confiscasted his passport.

But we know the way to fight it.

In 1917, at the height of WWI, three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal received a message from Heaven.

Our Lady warned: “Russia will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will suffer much…”

The “errors of Russia” were not just political. They were spiritual poisons:
>Atheistic materialism
>Class warfare
>Destruction of the family
>Rejection of the Church
>Deification of the State
>Persecution of the faithful

These are the seeds of Communism, and they spread globally.

We are still suffering from these to these day.

Our Lady gave us weapons to use:
>Daily Rosary
>Consecration to her Immaculate Heart
>First Saturdays devotion
>Penance and reparation for sins

She promised: “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”
