@DeMelloRetail So if many 2nd and 3rd tier stores were marginal before and even if the landlord is prepared to agree extended rent frees - are you suggesting they will stay closed anyway ? If so then why should a landlord agree to a RF unless the occupier agrees to re open...

@DeMelloRetail I am pretty sure there is no mention of change to antecedent date - just that the new RVs won’t come into force in April 21 - if that is the case, then occupiers and landlords (where vacant ) will be paying Rates based on RV from 2015.
