Finally managed to get @ThreeUK to cancel an “expired” contract for a 3G dongle I used briefly back in 2015. They’ve been charging me £9 /m without letting me know! Hope they have decency to donate some of their unearned gains. 🤔

@andyheald @andyheald - to be fair, the paper does reference biodiversity several times, including in the first sentence. I think it is a useful input to the debate on the role of forests in land management and climate policies.

@howemill This certainly isn’t in line with carbon accounting principles- which are foremost intended to protect and restore soil carbon.

@andyheald @FT I think that is the intent. Like other businesses, commercial forest developers should be accounting for GHG emissions and removals using standard reporting protocols. In general they should not need to generate carbon credits to be viable.
