Minnesota Governor Tim Walz bragged on X: “If you commit fraud in Minnesota you’re gonna get caught” and tried claiming victory for today’s busts.

FBI Director Kash Patel clapped back immediately:

“Come again? This FBI and DOJ with our DHS partners drafted and executed every search warrant today. But go ahead and take credit for our work while we smoke out the fraud plaguing Minnesota under your governorship.”
Reality:

- 22 locations raided

- Somali-run businesses at the center

- Hundreds of millions (possibly billions) stolen — including $300M in federal nutrition funds for kids and massive Medicaid scams

- Fake “learning centers” with cars parked outside for show while nobody was actually taught

This is the same Walz who spent years defending these programs and attacking the Trump admin for going after fraud.
