@Nickworthphysio i am updating our department competencies for MSK advanced practitioners . Are the 2022 ARMA standards what we should be working off at present ? I think your HEE email is obsolete now as it’s bouncing back. Many thanks
@Ryanair Hi is it ok to take a double buggy and stow it? I've read that this is free. Are there any restrictions? We have a Hamax Outback Double trailer/stroller
@JackGrealish@AVFCOfficial Absolutely respect your decision and wish you all the best. Youve given so much to the club, provided memories and excitement every time I watched! Good luck Jack x
Manual workers with LBP lifted more in line with recommendations (ie. more squat).... compared those working for >5yrs without LBP...(ie. more stooped). Where is the evidence behind the common lifting advice?
Nice work @NSaraceniPhysio https://t.co/Qa0b9iiU9r
@physiojack hi Jack. I'm reading up on postpartum onset of RA. one study found it only to be 0.8%. are there links with post partum period and RA to your knowledge? Many thanks
@RCObsGyn@MidwivesRCM@RCPCHtweets@RCoANews@OAAinfo@DHSCgovuk I've reviewed all 29 papers that you reference. Only 2 pregnancies less than 28 weeks mentioned (25&27 weeks). On what evidence are you saying covid-19 is safe for women in 1st & 2nd trimester? Swartz et al compare covid-19 to SARS and highlighted fetal risks in earlier pregnancy
There is mounting evidence that poor muscle & joint health is a risk factor for worse general health. I believe we should treat people with joint pain and impaired physical function like we treat other chronic diseases: 1) Screen; 2) Monitor over time; 3) Treat early
@AlecJRoberts Interesting and not surprising. Would be interesting to look at functional outcome as well like AROM to see if this improved regardless. I think this supports that benefits from MT are more linked to analgesic and therapeutic effect
