some skilled observers have suggested the A100-PCIE-40GB cluster is actually in China. and that somehow is illegal. i don't even think that would be true? but i am not sure i would want a GPU in China anyway? ionet have a comment?

also i have not tried any of these machines, maybe i'll do it later, but some of you wannabe sleuths might have the time to check them out. notice the usage is abysmal. 100 GPUs being used, not even sure if that is organic, real customers. 0% of the H100s are being used. suggests no customers know about ionet or dont care. i think paying in crypto is probably one of the bigger drawbacks, though, the fiat conversion system they have is pretty good.

I listened to your comments on a podcast about @ionet, @ryanconnor. I think you're wrong on a few things.

The CEO, @blackbit, stated privately to investors that the company has more than 500,000 GPUs. This is after the network was halted due to the 'malicious' users. (I wouldn't be so fast to dismiss this as a sybil attack). They stated publicly, months before the airdrop, that they had quite a lot of GPUs (you can check the tweets for the exact number, but enormous).

You also didn't mention anything about Ahmad's past, including fairly vicious accusations from past co-workers, and a number of interesting social media posts. This information is available publicly, but in Arabic and hidden away in various hard-to-find telegrams and Youtubes.

You missed the part where ionet claims, in their market materials and elsewhere, that they can save client 85%. When I pointed out that their prices are actually higher than some rivals, and at best, the same, the company responded by saying: "we said, 'up to' 85%".

Finally, it's not clear if the "KOL round" got proper diligence. You should check out their data room and talk to some of the participants in the round. Some unhappy campers.

PS, there are more shoes to drop. Talk to to some people and you may be able to hear about what's next.
