For two days, 19-year-old Erick Otieno pleaded with his family to get him out of police custody. Minutes after his release on cash bail late Sunday night, he vomited blood in front of his sister, struggled to walk and died on the way to hospital.

Abductions are a very popular tool by the police recently. It further seems that the police are untouchable.
Dear fellow citizens, kindly seek legal advise whenever summoned by the police
A senior police officer calls Jimmy Mutava to “meet.” He goes. CCTV shows him seated, relaxed, sharing drinks with that same officer and a female officer — moments before four masked, armed men drag him into a double-cab and vanish into the night.
🌻While Jimmy was being bundled away outside, the officer who summoned him was still calmly seated inside, phone in hand.
🌻He later told the family he was in the washroom. The footage says otherwise.
🌻His phone signal was last traced along Kamiti Road.
🌻Weeks later — nothing. No Jimmy. No answers. No accountability.
🌻This is not a robbery gone wrong. This is not a disappearance. The choreography — the meeting, the officers present, the masked men on standby, the coordinated abduction — has the fingerprints of something far more sinister.
🌻And Kenyans are silent.
🌻If a call from a police officer can now be the last thing you ever answer, none of us are safe.
🌻Mutava’s family wants him back — alive or dead. They deserve the truth. So do all of us #JusticeForJimmyMutava #WhereIsJimmyMutava @IG_NPS@DCI_Kenya@NPSOfficial_KE@IPOA_KE@thekhrc@HakiKNCHR
The judiciary is throwing us off in terms of its decision making. In Obado's case, the actors were never apprehended but the court heavily relied on motive. In this case the act that led to bleeding can be directly attributed to the ex-driver.
That man went to his neighbours, destroyed their properties and stole some of their belongings. He is currently facing criminal charges including robbery with violence at kilungu law courts.
He seeks political relevance so that he can thwart those proceedings
I’m watching Andrew Ndola Ndolo’s CTA episode titled “Understanding Kenyan Politics” and the political ball game is something peculiar. What struck me is his definition of WSR and his sharpness with numbers, interpersonal relations and his knowledge of voting patterns;20 years ago
@DanChepta He has no moral ground to speak about being humble. He is currently facing robbery with violence charges at kilungu law courts
He is alleged to have destroyed and stolen things from Ngile
This is one of the most unfair trials to ever grace the world. The right to fair trial and the principles to a fair trials have been neglected, denied or refused by the "court or presiding arbiter"
You cannot use unjust means to arrive at a just decision.
Dr Besigye to Judge Baguma:
Possibly, you may have to try us in absentia, so that it hastens the process, we give up our right to defend ourselves, you write a judgement and we deal with the judgment.
@quincygitahi The nobility of the profession continues to suffer under the hands of clout chasing
Anyway I am sure that some heavy instructions are being sought
The security docket appears to be on autopilot. The PS, Interior is doubling as a roads PR officer. The CS, Interior is moonlighting as a political commentator, spending his time sparring with Gachagua. The Inspector General appears to be treating court orders as optional.
@ckanjama My president there are orders by J. Mugambi that stipulate that members of the national police service should always identify themselves, through uniforms or badges. The IG and NPS have grossly been in contempt of these orders
