@FootnotesGuy Sounds like another dam good reason why we in the regions should leave New South Wales and create our own new New England State.
Long live freedom dammit.

If you think you get to define what politicians, parties, and their leaders, should or should not stand for, you are unfit to be an MP in a democratic country.
These are decisions that get made by the electorate, how dare you use your position as an elected member, to tell the Australian public what they should or should not accept from their respective elected members?
@BartGonnissen OUCH,, I'm surprised at how little damage to the warship.
I would love to hear the translation, the gentleman sounds a little agitated.
It could have been worse, New Zealand sunk a warship not long ago.
@EnergyWrapAU We will be importing gas from Argentina shortly if these people get their way.
Argentina ramping up same time Australia ramping down.
Time to learn Spanish perhaps.

Reduce the company tax rate to zero and tax distributed earnings at the same 20% flat rate as the income tax.
Long live freedom dammit.
@PaulineHansonOz 1/2
That's a good start, however even better combined with.
Raise the income tax-free threshold to $50,000 for individuals and $100,000 for couples, indexed to inflation.
With a flat tax rate of 20% on income above these thresholds
🇦🇺 WHICH PARTY BEST REFLECTS AUSTRALIAN VALUES? 🇦🇺
The result may surprise you.
If Australian values mean:
🗽 Respect for individual freedom and dignity
🗣️ Freedom of speech, religion and association
⚖️ Equality before the law
🏛️ Parliamentary democracy
🤝 Mutual respect and tolerance
🎯 Equality of opportunity
❤️ Compassion for those in need
🇦🇺 A fair go for all
...then libertarianism deserves a closer look.
Unlike the major parties, libertarians start with a simple principle:
🗽 People should be free to live their own lives, provided they do not harm others.
From that principle flows:
✅ Freedom of choice
✅ Personal responsibility
✅ Equal rights for all
✅ Free enterprise
✅ Strong families
✅ Strong communities
✅ Voluntary cooperation
And yes, compassion.
But libertarians believe compassion is most powerful when it comes from people, families, charities, churches, communities and volunteers—not distant bureaucracies and government departments.
❤️ A cheque from Canberra can provide assistance.
❤️ A caring community can provide belonging, dignity and hope.
History shows that Australia's greatest acts of compassion have often come from ordinary Australians helping one another, not from politicians spending other people's money.
The Australian spirit has always been built on freedom, responsibility, community and a fair go.
That's why libertarianism isn't foreign to Australian values.
It's one of the closest expressions of them.
🗽 More freedom.
🤝 Stronger communities.
❤️ Real compassion.
🇦🇺 A fair go for all.

@TopherField@larissawaters Perhaps Larissa Waters could argue/suggest with her green comrade's to stop taking $100 regularly from everyone in the world.
