@BearWithOneEar You are such a legend. I have been mentoring history teachers for 15 years and have introduced each one to your wonderful work. Thank you for all that you have done.

[Ann @Ridann82]

@DrCasserly I was only thinking of Miss Sowter on Friday. She was the perfect combination of in control but could also have a laugh. Very sad to hear of her passing, she was a fantastic teacher.

[Ann @Ridann82]

@SAB_B28 Got to love a future historian!

[Ann @Ridann82]

@SAB_B28 @BhamCityCouncil @hallgreenlib @HallgreenSave @cummins23 @Cllr_suleman @CllrTimHuxtable Brilliant Alex! We love our library and you showed the council that it is not theirs to close. If future generations are prepared to fight for it who are they to close it!well done SABs and Alex! X

[Ann @Ridann82]

@SAB_B28 @Blackwelladv Thank you sooo much Miss Ball for helping Peter to persevere. He is extremely proud of himself this evening and that kind of achievement is a testament to the great teachers at SABs so again, thank you!!

[Ann @Ridann82]

Awesome sessions today at #haconf24 Andrew Wrenn's session was very transferable. Can't wait to get back to school to add in all the great ideas!

[Ann @Ridann82]

@katiehall1979 Can't say that the HA have done Birmingham any favours with their choice of venue. Do venture out and see the best of Brum, it really is a fantastic city, especially in the sun!

[Ann @Ridann82]

@histassoc A great session although I don't think I thought of it along the lines of celebrating Protestant England over Catholic treachery. If I had I might not have enjoyed it so much.

[Ann @Ridann82]

Who cares about the Era's Tour I've just booked our tickets to @histassoc conference 2024! Looking forward to hearing from @tenigogo_ & @katiehall1979 amongst many others! Couldn't book on to listen to @Counsell_C which was disappointing. Can't wait for all the History!

[Ann @Ridann82]

Thanks to @SAB_B28 for promoting the use of our local library with their pupils. We need to get more people into their local library instead of closing them down!

Fill in the consultation forms and save our libraries for everyone!

[Cllr Kerry Jenkins🌹 @cummins23]

The consultation into the future of Birmingham's libraries is now live and will run until the 17th July. Our libraries play an important role in our communities. Please take part in this important consultation and complete the survey at: https://t.co/2SyDs5b252

[Saint Ambrose Barlow Catholic Primary School @SAB_B28]

Miss Traynor is suggesting it might be too wet to talk this morning. Maybe we'll use the time to write to @BrumLeader and ask the council not to close our libraries. We use them! @hallgreenlib @TahirAliMP

[Ann @Ridann82]

@SAB_B28 Thank you much for giving them such a fantastic opportunity!

[Ann @Ridann82]

@SAB_B28 Thanks to all the staff for doing such an awesome job! Xx

[Ann @Ridann82]

@SAB_B28 Thanks for taking them, Peter had a brilliant day and came home full of stories!

[Ann @Ridann82]

@WestKirbyGS So sorry to hear that this was the school you worked at Katie. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the school community. Such a tragic loss. X

[Ann @Ridann82]

@MissHudsonHist Birmingham are doing a cultural festival week with lots of live music etc. It will be a fantasy atmosphere and plenty to explore around the city.
