@DRTomlinsonEP @MarvinH2_G2 @CounsellingSam@EmmaSamms1 That happened to me: result 3 clots in the 'saddle' of my pulmonary artery, microbleeds in my brain, and dead capillaries in my toes which killed off my nerves.
@mcash Congratulations James!!! ๐ฅณ๐๐
I recently heard about the Poplar Rates Rebellion of 1921. I'm not suggesting this for Southwark Council(!) - but it's very inspiring. Creative solutions can be found even when central Govt inevitably tries to stuff you. ๐
Watched the Henry Nowak footage. You can get hung-up on the constant accusations of institutional bias in every direction but when will someone admit that too many police officers in this country are just fucking stupid
So weโre creating AI thats reasoning is entirely trained on the words of aggressive, fearful, tribal and superstitious primates (us).
Then weโre giving it autonomy.
And robots.
So the same sort of shit that humans do but done faster and more efficiently.
Going to be great
So Mandelson introduces Starmer to Peter Thiel. Blue Labour Maurice Glasman meets Thiel and Bannon and Vance at the same time, and consults with Farage. Both feeding their confidences back to Morgan McSweeney
Anyone remember how Labour reacted to Militant 'entryism'?
"(Paul Holden) was trashed for supplying us with bulletproof documents which posed a question which years later has still never been answered: why did the entity which made Keir Starmer leader fail to declare hundreds upon thousands of pounds when it had been told it needed to?"
Well done to @PeterKGeoghegan and Khadija Sharife for winning the @PrivateEyeNews Paul Foot Award โ and revealing a conspiracy which for some time succeeded in suppressing scrutiny and defaming not just Sunday Times reporters, but those without the same resources to defend themselves including, above all, Paul Holden @StarmertheFraud.
He was trashed for supplying us with bulletproof documents which posed a question which years later has still never been answered: why did the entity which made Keir Starmer leader fail to declare hundreds upon thousands of pounds when it had been told it needed to?
The alacrity with which Labour ministers and MPs rightly scrutinise, for instance, Farageโs finances strangely still eludes them on this. Still some grumble about the supposed factual identity of Starmerโs adversaries โ and in so doing, either inadvertently or otherwise give oxygen to many of the reportโs lurid claims.
Which is why fearless journalism was the only remedy. Peter and Khadija recognised that and the whole fourth estate is fortunate they did.
And a final word: only a few of us know the sacrifices some people have made to bring this information into the public domain. Thank you to them โ and letโs all remember that, according to Hansard, at least one source is being hounded by Apco, the appalling firm behind the report.
"Blair won 3 general elections so you need to listen to him" yeah well Harold Wilson won four so I guess it's time for a 98% marginal tax rate on unearned income and price controls on milk.
Told you.
And this is why, as the reality becomes clear, journalists are going to be amongst the most hated people on Earth. The media has totally failed to inform and educate the public about what we face.
Rural workers in Bolivia have seized an oil field in the Santa Cruz region and halted all production, as part of the general strike against neoliberalism.
The site, in the Santa Rosa del Sara municipality, is now fully offline.
The same politicians that let Covid rip for political convenience are now punishing young people for being ill as a consequence. They are doing this instead of getting young people treatment for their damaged health โ while still letting Covid rip.
remember like a month ago when zach polanski retweeted a member of the public's concerns about police conduct and all of politics came screeching to a halt for the day to condemn such a wholly inappropriate political interference into operational policing?
