Honestly, I’d rather the cops took bribes. Currently they’ll plant evidence on you so they can frame an innocent person for nothing other than the paycheck they already receive. At least with a bribery scheme it’s an even playing field.

In South Africa every cop takes bribes, they intimidate citizens at random traffic stops and openly and blatantly ask for bribes…it’s just part of their culture!
