I’ve been to 1 million great/exciting sporting events — World Series G7, Final Fours, Kentucky Derby, etc. — but nothing compares to chills generated by 45,000 fans at Memorial Stadium chanting this when Eddie Murray came up to bat in a clutch situation.
Truly electric.
Certainly clear to Orioles fans what they’re going for, but I head a number of Red Sox fans asking why we’re handing out signs that say Ed die and what Ed did to deserve it
Can’t echo this enough. Great book — maybe not as funny as Cheers, but plenty funny / entertaining.
And enraging, sadly. Fr. Paul certainly suffered at the hands of his order. But the telling of his story by @khallwalker and @georgeweigel is helping swing the pendulum back.
The day after tomorrow is the 6th anniversary of the worst day of my life, the day when my friend Fr. Paul Mankowski, SJ died. My book is still in print and this is not shameless self-promotion because the royalties wouldn't buy me a bag of groceries, but you owe to yourself to meet this man and know that he lived. The darker the world gets, the MORE you need to know. Plus he was hysterically funny, and you could probably use a good laugh about right now.
Don’t sleep on a Graham Motion horse. Dude can train em up good.
Of course, so can Cherie Devaux, who had a real nice weekend at the spa, even if Golden Tempo didn’t win the Travers.
Just go ahead and box all their horses and you will probably do OK.

I’m really scared about it all.
Everyone’s up in arms but nobody seem to know.
I don’t know squat about whoever owns this car I saw recently at @MonmouthPark except for two things:
1) He (and it’s obv a he) lives in NJ and
2) He’s a gambling degenerate
Make that three things actually: He’s my spirit animal.
Bathroom sign at this restaurant … So many questions.
First, wtf is the one second from the right? Total gender confusion.
Also, who lies down on the floor of a fucking restaurant bathroom?? Gross.
And why is it an alien?
Notes from the shower: Prell looks and smells as if it would be delicious, like a super tasty lime Jell-O or something.
SPOILER: It does not. Tastes fucking disgusting.
We've lost a beloved family member: Connie had four legs but was one of us. We loved her, and she loved us. She was also Chief Security Officer here at @kristoffarms, reminding the bears and cougars who's boss. RIP, Connie. You live in our hearts.
