That said, there is massive room for improvement on all the player ID tags and animated grey circles under their feet. That stuff can be cut down 90%.

The current death count for COVID is 410k, with models in the neighborhood of 2mm without restrictions.

@iam_preethi Hard to quantify deaths by job loss and gyms being closed, I’d guess if they did lead to death it’d mostly fall under suicide anyways, so let’s say COVID restrictions doubled every category that is quantifiable - this would be a massive exaggeration imo but let’s go with it -

@realchasecurtis They've always been aggregates. That model worked a lot better when they had limited print space and 24 hour cycles.

Now they have unlimited web space and 24/7 breaking news networks that "need" to fill that space.

Limitations increase quality and accuracy of content.
