I've only experienced the originals retrospectively from release and enjoyed the remake even if it had its flaws.

@ElectronShep The market is pretty well met for converters at different price and quality points that accept 480p input.
One solution that could natively accept the 480i signal too for the rest of the library without having to be tricked or patched (I’m playing on OG GDs) would be instant buy.
