My latest via @WisPolitics: "Instead of accepting that every new census must produce winners and losers in a fixed contest for 435 seats, Congress could restore a principle that served the country for much of its existence; when the nation grows, representation should grow too." https://t.co/Hn61Xn9uL5

The House has been frozen at 435 seats since 1929. America’s population has nearly tripled.
Our representatives now speak for ~800,000 people — the worst representation ratio ever.
Congress can fix this with a simple bill. No constitutional amendment needed.

David Beasley spent more than three decades as a Republican, serving as South Carolina’s governor. He recently announced that he’s walking away from his party as he laments a rise in toxic vitriol emanating from the GOP’s standard-bearer.
"The vitriolic language, the demeaning, divisive, degrading that has taken place, is just completely out of control, and I don't want to be associated with that," he tells @RealAmnaNawaz.
Always pay attention to what's happening in Ohio, folks. It's the nation's testing ground, for restaurants, retail, & politics - if it works in Ohio it will work anywhere. The saying "so goes Ohio, so goes the nation" is a thing for a reason. @JRultenberg and I elaborate on this in our recent book, Draw the Line in Ohio.
If this country lets Vivek Ramaswamy get away with that ad, you will not believe how foul and disgusting the 2028 and 2030 elections will be.
If you let this pass, you will never put the genie back in the bottle.
