call me stupid call me ugly call me broke call me bitchless call me stinky call me drug addicted call me wanted for 644 federal crimes but do NOT call me dripless!
@battlestourneys@coriposting mf who cares this is the most benign thing to yap to other ppl abt, I'm going to be generous and assume you have better things to do so you should do them
we live in a bizarro world where idiots just think it's everyone's first day on earth and gets unreasonably mad at the idea
"how was I supposed to know it was sarcasm man, she didn't say /j!" brother why did you think 'magic realists' is a normal position
does anyone else think it's kinda unfair to make your customers think you're doing magic but actually you're just using the art of misdirection and sleight of hand to show that things aren't as they seem? like imo its kinda scummy to charge people to be lied to
@battlestourneys@coriposting man why is everyone doing a variation of "erm last time I checked jokes had to be *checks notes* funny. huh, must be a pibby glitch..." like are y'all hearing yourselves rn just say you didn't understand the social vibe and accidentally got unreasonably mad and move on gng
@loserbf69_ idk gng when you publicly post on social media you open yourself up to discussion, if you don't want that then there are tools to mitigate it (like privating!)
@bpdasa very fair, but I would argue that you're farther along than many people bc you at least intimately know a goal and framework to work toward - a lot of people are diving in blind hoping a relationship just magically fixes all their problems without knowing what success looks like
@loserbf69_ this is not an attack on ppl w BPD, it's an urging that you will have more success if you can manage your impulses so that the person in your corner can love and help you without having to steel themselves against a version of you that's hyper antagonistic, BPD or not
@loserbf69_ ofc everyone has issues, ik neurotypicals w behaviors way more toxic than anyone w bpd could incline one to have! I give the same advice - that if you're consistently lashing out and unjustifiably hurting mayb the one person that loves you the most in the world, you need help too
@snailm0der mayb in a philosophical vacuum you might be right but I'd argue that a society that encourages or allows this type of act invites a whole host of morally problematic and depraved behaviors, so we ban it outright regardless of the potentially 'ethical' edge cases
@Yuh_Boi21 I dare say dating w bpd is more challenging than many physical disabilities bc you get a lot of grace when you need help up the stairs, but very little grace if you split toward someone without experience dealing w it. And many ppl overestimate how capable they can deal w it
call me woke but I really think people have to do the minimum amount of work before they get into serious relationships, lest they severely hurt others that aren't equipped to help or deal with it
genuinely got a wake up call when I was having a spiral and accusing my boyfriend that he fucking hated me and despised being around me and that he resented me and he said to stop being mean to him
@Yuh_Boi21 I mean it's tough but self-growth is a lifelong journey for many, and if you feel you're truly doing and have done all you currently can and still want to pursue some1, I just suggest you be hyperselective enough to date some1 truly aware and capable to meet you on your level
