Consumer Alert: My 1-Year Ordeal with Carrier Midea India Pvt. Ltd. AC Defect, False Claims & Ignored Complaints. Avoid Carrier Midea if you value your money and peace of mind.
This company, @CarrierMideaInd has caused me tremendous mental stress for a year (since April 2025 to this date), and its committed actions constitute a deficiency of service, unfair trade practice, false diagnosis, repeated negligent repairs and mental harassment that every consumer should be aware of before deciding to purchase an AC, and should avoid purchasing from this company. Because the after-sales service of this company—across service agency seniors, company officials, escalation, and the legal team—is extremely distressing. They would never coordinate, deny responsibility even after faulty repairs, and leave you struggling for months with no follow-ups or meaningful response for a year.
For the complete story and full context, please go through the posts I have shared detailing the entire ordeal and the company’s misconduct.
Within just 2–3 years, I am now forced to purchase a new AC. I have already incurred a loss of ₹35,500 on the unit and ₹3,900 on repairs, with no benefit despite enduring a year of mental harassment. I now have to spend an additional ₹35,000, taking my total financial loss to around ₹70,000. I was compelled to sleep on a mattress on the floor in my parents’ room for months, including during my MBA final semester, due to unbearable heat, and even now I am unable to sleep in my own room. Even after a year, I yield no benefits from the amount spent on their inferior services and no resolution whastover.
If you buy from this company Carrier Midea, be prepared to lose peace of mind. If any issue arises, they will not support you, will delay endlessly, and you will not receive the value of your money. They will even claim that 65+ dB noise is normal (even going beyond 70dB), despite government standards clearly stating it should be below 45 dB.
If you are planning to purchase a new AC, I strongly advise you to refrain from considering Carrier products. Otherwise, you may have to go through the same experience I have endured for over a year.
@jagograhakjago@CPCB_OFFICIAL@moefcc@consaff@nch1915 I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter. I have already filed complaints (Docket No. 8731615 and 8963747). I urge you to examine the false and misleading statements made by @CarrierMideaInd and initiate an investigation through the Consumer Forum, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and other concerned authorities.
I have also attached relevant videographic evidence that directly contradicts the company’s claims in the comment section and clearly demonstrates that the unit is functioning abnormally, producing excessive noise exceeding 65 dB—well above the prescribed government limit of below 45 dB.

@CarrierMideaInd is breaching the norms and standards of government authorities like Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and World Health Organisation (WHO) rules and regulations, when every government authorities prescribe the norms for desirable noise levels for indoor residential AC units to be less than 45dB, whereas Carrier establishes their own standards which says the appropriate noise level should be 70dB, which is equivalent to the noise generated in a traffic. Since my AC is generating 65+dB since last year after they replaced the compressor and PCB with defective items, so they'd come with this figure to whitewash this case I've been trying to seek resolution since last year (every senior blocked my number, 60+ calls made to escalation and they just wither ignore or disconnect the calls and saying that the AC is fixed, which is a complete lie).
Kindly scrutinize over their operations and investigate the following case. This accounts to misconduct and unethical practices by Carrier Midea. Also, kindly provide the possible legal remedies for the mental harassment I've endured for the past 1.5 years.

Chor log. Scammers and Frauds. I've kept your product in my store , I'm selling to you at kabadi ka rate. Tell your fraud seniors Fraud Bhupinder, Fraud Mridul, Fraud Hafiz and Fraud Mohanlal to pick that ac y'all have destroyed and buy for 500₹. ₹3900 lete hue sharam nahi ayi, 1.5 years se ignore kar rahe ho besharmo government norms todte ho, seniors block karte hai escalation call cut karta hai. Jab aukaat na ho toh ac bechna band kardo Scammers. AC lo mujhse 500 me and 2000 me kabadi me bechke waha se bhi kamao bikhari chor log. Court me I'll make you ashamed and government authorities to scrutinize your operations. Besharmo kamse kam government ke bane norms pe toh apni dadagiri mat dikhao. Jao mridul ko batado 3900 loote thei April 2025 me, aake ac lo and kabadi me bechke aur kamaye wo. Bikhari baithe ho sab from Seniors to service agency to escalation, factory team, customer care and all .
And tell to Mridul and Bhupinder jab area senior ki post nibhane ki aukaat na ho na after sales service me, toh nokri bhi mat karo jab uska Maan na ho kisi ko.
Chor log hire karo, kabadi product becho. Service repair ke naam pe defective parts install karo aur 3900 luto. Harrass karo customer ko for 1 year.
I have every proof to declare that Carrier Midea is nothing but a fraud. I would escalate so much even if it requires to reach media-houses/courts or even administrative/govt bodies. Block my number/ignore my 60+ calls (I've every call recording which contradicts how phoney ethics y'all carry), every sort of proofs.
See you in a court now. I don't have any problem to call you frauds and morons in front of judge
If y'all really want to do something great for your father, just stay away from this company and avoid purchasing their products. Otherwise if your AC would face any issue in a year, their fraud officials and employees would loot your money, ignore you for a year and block your number, deny responsibility...from escalation to seniors (Mridul, Bhupinder, Hafiz, Mohanlal), factory team and customer care. All are pathetic people with no principles and moral ethics.
Carrier I'm going to sue against your company very soon.
You don't provide any resolution at all. You disposed my case on false pretext (Docket number 8963747 and another previous case). Even though I'd shared the whole context, provide cloud link to access 20+ videographic and documented proofs and sharing every relevant information, you don't even consider any aspect of the complaint at all. Just siding with the companies who have not only responsible for misconduct and providing mental harassment to us for the past 1.5 years, but also have breached different Government Authorities Norms and standards like MoEFCC, CPCB and BIS Standards. I shared it with you, tagged on multiple posts with providing message screenshots received by their manager acknowledging abnormal functioning of my AC and company breaching govt prescribed noise limits to 70dB as Carrier Standard (government says it should be less than 45dB).
Still you didn't consider it. Why should we even believe in you when you don't care for the one who filed a complaint at all. Absolute worst experience, no expectations from consumer forum. I wasted 37500 on Carrier Product, then they looted my ₹3900 for installing defective parts that destroyed my AC and now within 3 years after its deteriorating condition within 2 years and likewise the complaint processes initiated for the period of April 2025 to this date, I'd to purchase a new AC for ₹40000, means ₹80000 I'd to spend.
Thank you Consumer Forum for being of no use. Please aid the fraud companies and let them harass the customers and breach the law.

Frauds loot ₹3900, install defective parts, blocks the customer, escalation cuts the call and then setting their own standards of 70dB as appropriate noise levels to dismiss customer complaint of AC producing abnormal noise beyond 65+dB after your defective parts installation, and breaching all of the govt prescribed norms.
That's Carrier Midea, the biggest fraud company with Frauds exisiting in whole company, from Seniors to Escalation, Service Agency and Customer Care.
The government should throw your company out of India for doing misconduct and practicing unethical practices.
Shameless company can't even address the customer over call, messages or even on X Platform.
Deceptive liars you all are. And biggest looters.
